So beautiful!Loved the sunsets and swans and fireflies! The windows gave a tremendous vista of the lake.Captain Dave is very responsive, kind and friendly.Thank you!Would definitely recommend.
Captain David very thorough explaining everything,a great cabin feel with a magnificent view of Lake Ontario, the sound of waves against the shore was soothing and credit to a restful evening added to the dancing flames from the Bob-fire.
The cottage was very clean, kitchen well equipped. Very nice view of the lake and lovely sunsets. It is a very quiet location, good for relaxing and sleeping. Owner was attentive and responded quickly to a question. The location is convenient to Lewiston, Artpark, Fort Niagara, Lockport, Niagara Falls and Canada. There is a town beach nearby and we enjoy visiting the Wilson Harbor. Check in was easy.
We had a wonderful time! The views of Lake Ontario are amazing. While sitting on the back deck the only thing we could hear was wind and waves in this very quiet neighborhood. The cottage is clean and comfortable. This is a lovely place.
This trip will always be a significant life experience. Dave and his wife were super clear with directions, instructions and support. The cottage indoor's, is very spacious with comfortable seating. My favorite things were the windows covering the house that had a million dollar view. Outside plenty of lake front space.
The property is located at excellent location. Beautiful view and the neighborhood is amazing. The only reason that I gave 4 star instead of 5 was twofold: there was no WiFi, instead, there was a LAN cable and I could not connect to the internet since there is almost no cellphone signal. Also, we saw a mouse in the kitchen, but I think it may be normal for this type of cottage.

Our cleaning crew reported in addition to the cottage being a mess after this stay ,that a window was left wide open that does not normally have a screen .
If there was a "mouse" in the cottage that's how it got in . Have not seen any mice in the cottage since we've owned it- 2002. but we will have a company come in and professionally check on this.
We have stayed in numerous rental properties over the years but this property was our best experience overall. Great views of lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline opposite. The property was clean, quiet, with great indoor space. We expected it to be smaller than it turned out to be. We had a great time exploring the nearby shops, wineries, and restaurants. Captain Mike was the consummate host. We'll be back. Is it possible to give 6 stars?
This was the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful, quiet and restful time away from home. I could sit on the deck or in the living room for hours and listen to the waves hit the rocks on the shore. The sunset was beautiful and I loved watching the hummingbirds during the day and the fireflies light up the night. The place was as described and communication with the property manager was great. We would definitely go back. Thanks for letting us stay there. We definitely needed the down time and a trip to Black Bird Cider Hall in Barker added to the trip.
Cute property that is wonderful to have the doors open and listen to the sound of the waves. Nice location away from town but not too far away perfect for a couple.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well-stocked, location was great (beautiful waterfront views, and just enough off the beaten path) and hosts were very conscientious about making sure we enjoyed our stay. Would love to visit again some day. Great place.
Nice cottage, everything you need.Things that need addressing like only 3 tv channels, deck furniture was rotted, side screen door need to be hung better.back steps very slippery when there wet .

Most people rent this cottage to enjoy the outdoors not watch TV ,but we will consider expanding the cable.
We have a glass storm door on the side not a screen door and the cleaning crew reported it was functioning fine but we will also look into this. Thank you!
Thank you for alerting us to the steps after it rains- we will address this asap.
Sorry the white rockers were not to your liking, We will address this concern.
