Gorgeous Waterfront Views and Private Access to Bay

The Coromandel is an outdoor haven renowned for its stunning natural beauty and laid back culture. With some of New Zealand's best weather the Coromandel is a year round destination for visitors. Access to Coromandel town is via the beautiful coast road or ferry directly from Auckland.

Spend your time walking, cycling, swimming or just relaxing in this beautiful natural landscape.

Situated in stunning Wyuna Bay Sea La Vie is a modern well equipped waterfront Bach with 180 degree uninterrupted views of the Coromandel harbour right through to Te Kouma Bay. The Ranges feature as a backdrop to the harbour and provide spectacular sunrises right across the water. At the end of the day stroll across the road and take a seat on Sunset Bench to enjoy the breath taking sunsets of the Hauraki Gulf.

Double stacker ranch sliders lead to the deck which is perfect for that afternoon BBQ.

Meander down the boardwalk-style and shell steps directly to Wyuna Bay beach below for a swim, or take the 3 kayaks for a paddle.

Parking on the concreted drive and off road gravel parking for a car and boat trailer at the top of the house (this is slightly slopping and parking is at your own risk).

Visiting Sea La Vie you will create lasting memories to share with family and friends.
Special conditions:
Deck not suitable for unsupervised small children.
No fire guard around fireplace. (Keep children safe)
Second bathroom is a second toilet only

Great location

The property was in a great location with views to the East, but also a few steps away for views to the West. Easy access to the town and the hills nearby. Beautiful living area and great access to the beach.

Fantastic

Beautiful property with absolutely stunning views!Everything is thought of for a very pleasant mid-winter stay...plenty of firewood and extra blankets provided.Easy check in, and Lisa was really wonderful with communication, checking in with us to make sure we were happy on arrival.Couldn't recommend a stay at Sea La Vie more highly.Thank you Lisa :)

A peaceful retreat.

We had a lovely stay here. So lovely and quiet. Fabulous views. The walk down to the beach and the beach was beautiful. The house was really home from home. Everything provided for a very comfortable stay. Will definitely return some day.

Great Pocket in Coromandel

we had a great time at the house. the walk down to the water was fun but steep so trek lightly! Town is a few minutes away, we had a little sun while staying there, the view from the porch was stunning.

Beautiful spot on the Bay

This property was exactly as advertised, and then some! It was such a beautiful homebase to explore the Coromandel Peninsula - comfortable, well-equipped and the views were incredible. Would absolutely recommend Sea La Vie to anyone and hope to visit again sometime! :) Thank you, Lisa!

Amazing Getaway

Absolutely breath taking views. We had the most well needed relaxing time. The stay was fabulous with the luxury of having everything needed at the house with the added bonus of a pool table and table tennis table, puzzles, books and even a full equipped kitchen. Lisa is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for allowing us to stay on your wonderful home.

Great spot to enjoy the Coromandel

This place was great for exploring the Coromandel. The view was amazing. The kids loved the pool table. We did take the kayaks out once too. It gets a little hot during the day, but it was managed through opening windows, etc. We would stay there again.

Wonderful private escape with breathtaking views!

Host was very responsive and communicative! Especially loved the large outdoor deck and gas grill looking out onto the bay! It was just the two of us but can also see having lots of fun with a larger group given the amount of amenities provided. Private trail down to the beach for the adventurous given the fact that the property is high-bank waterfront! :) We also really enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the melodic birdsongs at dusk.

Stunning location

Amazing views, even better than the photographs. Great position, quiet but quick to get to Coromandel Town. Loved the kayaking in the bay, easier kayaking either side high tide - we are 66 years old and kayaked for 2 hours each day in amazingly calm waters. Great kitchen facilities so easy to self cater (this includes the BBQ). In fact all facilities were excellent. But overall it’s the views that you will remember. If we travel to NZ again, we will return.

Relaxing

As everyone has mentioned the view/location is terrific. We were looking for somewhere my wife and I could relax, this place worked a treat. Our entire stay it rained, yet given the location, it never tainted our stay at all. The house has everything you could need to make you feel comfortable and at home. It was easy to check in and Lisa communicates well. I have no pressing concerns about the place and we are generally pretty easy going. The only observation I would make, is although the place is definitely tidy, I would not describe it as entirely clean. If you do choose to stay here, I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Great holiday in a great house

We had a wonderful 4 days in this lovely house. What a great view! We saw a sting ray swimming in the bay from the deck. Wyuna Bay is lovely, with fantastic sunsets over the road. Lisa was a fantastic host, with excellent communication. I wouldnt recommend the house to anyone with mobility problems, or toddlers - there are some internal stairs and the path down to the beach is fairly narrow and steep. But we loved using the kayaks and having visits from the friendly cat next door. Would love to come back some time.

Little piece of paradise ❤️

We stayed from 23-28 Dec 22 and was lucky enough to have beautiful weather. There were 3 lots of us staying at different locations around coromandel and of cause ours being the most amazing spot xnas day, actually mist days the family gathered at our place as it was perfect for swimming, gathering Kai moana and fishing. The guys were lucky enough to catch a couple of snapper. My son inlaw even proposed to our daughter there on the deck xmas day 🥰 Absolutely amazing spot, amazing views, sunrises, sunsets across the road. Thank you Lisa for sharing your little piece of paradise. We will return.

The place is lovely. Quiet, great view of the bay, and kitted out well. We enjoyed a the morning sun and kayak and cosy evenings. Plenty available to do within easy reach, whether staying local or just popping over the hill to the east coast. The stingrays trawling the waterfront are visible from the deck and along with the dolphins jumping on the point were a highlight of the outlook.
