The kitchen is fully equipped with a side by side fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven. Washing machine and dryer available for use too. Back yard is fully fenced, ideal for safe play for the kids. Some outdoor toys can be found in the outdoor shed. A barbecue and outdoor furniture make for an ideal finish to the day.
Shed in the back yard can be used for bike storage.
Child friendly suitable for all ages, fully fenced back yard, toys, games, portable cot, highchair and kids table and chairs
For entertainment there is free wifi, TV with chromecast , blueray/dvd player and board games and books. We hope you will enjoy our place as much as we do and we will continue to make improvements over the next little while.

Fantastic, well equipped property

The house is awesome! It's a great size and really nicely done. The bathrooms are new-looking, the kitchen has more than you could ever need and the living space is huge for a holiday rental. Communication was superb. I couldn't recommend this place more for a family visit or friends get-together.

Great property with everything you need and more. Nice updated bathrooms & plenty of space. Only downside I would say is it's a very quiet neighbourhood so any fun/music at the house is quickly complained about by the neighbour to the owner. Owner does stipulate it being a quiet neighbourhood on the listing though so our bad for not picking that up. Overall though, great clean place with lots of character.

Fantastic location for access to Long Mile Road, Redwoods & Tawawera Rd cafes, takeaways & shops.

A very spacious home with very sunny & warm living areas. Plenty of space to store MTB's securely. We stayed for a long weekend in early winter - very frosty but sunny conditions. The house was toasty warm once heated but it took some time to heat as we arrived early evening. If heating is able to be turned on in advance for people arriving in evenings over winter it would be perfect. Lounge heated quickly but bedrooms/bathrooms take sone time. Electric blankets did help warm up the beds. Overall still a great experience & would recommend this spacious bach for a families. Great value for money.

Why they chose this property

Both my husband and I love the outdoors and are both very active. Our property is in very close proximity to The Redwoods in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty so you can go out the back gate and go hiking, run or MTB. Further afield there are lakes to explore, hikes to be had or shops cafes and the many other attractions found in Rotorua.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this architecturally designed house which perhaps fits into the Mid century Modern time frame? With its high pitched ceilings, block construction it certainly has great bones. The previous owners had started to make changes and we hope to do so too enhancing its structure but not taking away from its history. We have recently added double glazing and an extra heat pump to make it a cosy and warm spot in winter (Rotorua can be quite chilly in Winter).
The fact that you can be on your next adventure in minutes certainly was a draw card too. With close proximity to shops, other conveniences and a quiet neighbourhood all added benefits
