About this property

Mount Mauganui - Across the road from the beach!!!

Families and mature couples only please. No groups of young people.
North facing deck gets all day sun with bbq available for use.
Newly renovated kitchen/dining/bathroom with polished wooden floors.
Bifold doors opening up onto the deck which gives great airflow through the house, stays cool even on hot days!
Fully fenced section so is safe for kids.
Big driveway area for ample off street parking or is a great area for the kids to play/ride bikes.
Trampoline also available.
Out the back is a small area with sandpit and vege garden which guests can help themselves to.

The location of the house is directly across the road from the beach which has been voted No 1 by Tripadviser for 2017.
You are also within walking distance to a great cafe as well as takeaways and a bottle store.
Also within walking distance of Omanu Surf Club if you wish to swim between the flags and a short walk to the beautiful Mount Mauganui Golf Club.

Our stay in the Mount

A nice property in a great location to the beach. All you need is there and good hosts. Would stay there again.

Tv not working. Light bulbs blown. House smells of a pet. Dirty Long haired carpet in the lounge and room. Frail carpet. Smelly office. Only 1 bathroom. Not suitable for 6 people. Very uncomfortable fold up bed for 6th person. Only 1 3 seater in the lounge and a very old single chair that looked out of place. Not sure if the bean bag in the lounge was meant to be used by us or if it was the bed for a pet - discovered this after we sat on it. Definitely not worth the money we spent for 3 nights. Feels ripped off.

Family holiday

We loved every minute of our stay. We felt right at home. Location was awesome. Walking distance to the dairy and the beach. Short driving distance to town. Approachable and friendly hosts. Would highly recommend this host and their lovely home.

Xmas Break

My daughter and her family stayed over New Year and found plenty to keep the children busy in all weathers and my son in law also got to enjoy the Black Caps as a bonus. Very responsive host.

Great Location

Great Location and we enjoyed the deck area, the bedrooms are arranged as two children's rooms and 1 x adult room with beds to accommodate. One of the bedrooms does get quite warm in summer. Some of our group couldn't travel due to covid and unfortunately booking dates were not able to be changed but we will keep that in mind to check the policy for future Bookabach bookings.
