Relax at the edge of the sea in beautiful Kakanui. Overlooking Campbells Bay with sea views from every room, we offer a comfortable and cosy experience. With therapeutic sounds of the beach within walking distance, and historic Oamaru only 14kms away, you can enjoy a bit of both worlds.

A 1970s crib that has been extended over time, resulting in a quirky layout with three interconnected bedrooms that come off the lounge (no hallway), and is most suitable for families or close friends.

Please note: the house has old fittings and carpet so that animals can stay. Still very comfortable though :)

Stayed here after our wedding so we were looking for a nice spot to relax, and this definitely delivered, although it may be a wee bit of an old house it was very homely and with the fire going it was lovely and warm, whilst also having stunning views of the ocean.We loved it definitely would recommend this one!

Fantastic location to Oamaru, Moeraki and Katiki Point Lighthouse and Seals. The extensive sea views at the Bach, from most rooms were incredible. The bach was lovely and clean, with comfortable beds and two bathrooms, which were both great and very handy for our stay. The fire was a real highlight for the cooler evenings. It is an older bach, as shown in the photos and listing, but it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing coastal break.Having a porta cot, high chair, and toys available was a real bonus for our family weekend away with the grandkids.All communication prior to our stay was efficient and quick. Thank you very much !

This is a classic Kiwi bach with many of the original charms still intact. Appropriately priced, the house is very warm, clean and comfortable with fabulous sea views from every room. Would definitely stay again

The location is amazing. However, the house needs renovation as the host readily admits. Also, I used the old binoculars that must have been a favorite of a previous owner. There was much ghostly movement of steps and thumps in the middle of the night. My friend was concerned,not knowing if this was a friendly spirit or other.
