Nestled off SH35 is a peaceful and secluded bay. The beach and rocky outcrops make it one of the prettiest bays on the coast and a ‘must visit’ summer location. Gather your family for a fun-filled day snorkeling, diving, fishing, and swimming in the crystal waters. Access to this beach involves crossing private land, so please respect the owner’s wishes (clear signage). Nearby is a bush walk up the Whanarua Stream that offers scenic waterfalls and glow-worms.
