Sleeps 10; Quilts and pillows provided – BYO sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels OR optional linen hire $170 available through Country Getaways office; optional linen service fee $80 for beds to be made up. Ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity & toilet; Main bathroom with bath, walk-in shower & vanity; Separate toilet. Reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in lounge room; Ceiling fans in all bedrooms; Living area has ceiling fan; Wood combustion heater in lounge room (guests need to bring wood to use). Large open plan living area; Large television (with USB & HDMI ports) in lounge room; BluRay player; WiFi for guest use; Radio. Wall-mounted television in master bedroom. Board games including Monopoly & Scrabble; Card games including Uno. Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine (guests need to bring compatible Nespresso pods or purchase locally), & large fridge with freezer on top; High chair. Top load washing machine. Outdoor entertaining area with kitchen facilities; Seating & dining on undercover deck; Hooded gas barbecue; Bar fridge in outdoor kitchen. Unfenced yard. nice house, 4 bedrooms, water pressure excellent for showers etc, had a nice wood fire. house had everything, approx a 15 to 30 minute walk to town, house was in the middle of a paddock, so heaps of parking

Property was found to be unclean and poorly maintained. There was not even a functioning toilet brush. The cutlery tray was dirty, and there were spider webs throughout the property, particularly around the BBQ area. The sliding door, fly screen, and rails were unclean, and the fly screen itself was rusted. Window treatments were poorly kept, creating a tripping hazard. The bulky beds left very limited space to move around the bedroom. None of the remote controls appeared to work, and we had to download a remote app on our phones to operate the TV. These issues are just some of the concerns identified.

Neat and clean

Our stay at whispering winds was very convenient as was close to where we had a job to do. It was very neat, clean and spacious. Quality furniture etc. parking was a breeze with 4 trades involved. Nice showers were very welcome after a hard days work. If I had to find a negative. Not enough cooking pots. As not everyone just uses the barbecue.
