Mt Werner Hideaway is a picturesque mountain home with aesthetic views and serene sounds, secluded in the woods bordering National Forest. The property offers solitude and a tranquil cabin-like setting along and overlooking Burgess Creek, hidden amongst a grove of pines and aspens.
You will feel like you are away from it all, almost half way up Mount Werner, (also home to Steamboat Resort) yet only a mile and a half to the base Village area and less than four miles to town, making it the perfect vacation retreat.
Located an easy five minute walk (.2 mile) to the Creekside biking and hiking trail.
Spread out on three levels, this beautiful and spacious three bedroom 2,332 square foot single family home comfortably sleeps nine adults. Log cabin walls, ceilings and floors, stunning artwork and fabulous furniture are highlights throughout the property.
At minimum four different living areas, two indoors and two outdoors, allow for some to relax and have quiet time in one area, while others can be in the other areas of the home.
In the Summer and Fall, take advantage of an unforgettable additional area, with two rocking chairs right next to the creek.
Enter the property into a convenient mudroom with lots of hooks and a bench and plenty of room for coats, boots, skis, boards and more.
Make your way into the home and find a roomy living area on the main level featuring tongue and groove cathedral ceilings and lots of windows and natural light. There is also an alluring double sided stone, wood-burning fireplace in the middle, adding plenty of warmth and ambiance.
On one side of the fireplace is plenty of comfortable seating with a sofa, loveseat and two chairs. Kick back, relax and watch a game, movie or show on the flat screen smart TV.
On the other side is the updated kitchen and a dining area. The full kitchen offers black granite countertops and stainless appliances, including a 5 burner gas range. It is fully stocked with everything you need to stay in and cook a meal.
You have multiple dining options with both a large table and 8 chairs, as well as three bar stools at the kitchen counter.
The main level deck has a table, six chairs, a loveseat (weather depending) and a large gas grill.
There is a powder room on the main level.
Upstairs and on its own level, is the very private master en suite, featuring a king bed with views of the woods, a flat screen smart TV and lots of drawer storage. The en suite bathroom has a tub shower combo, single vanity along with a separate make up counter and chair with a makeup mirror and large mirror.
Outside the master en suite and overlooking the main living area is both a sitting area with two chairs as well as a desk and chair, with amazing views of the woods and creek. Combined with Xfinity high speed Wi-Fi, this makes the Mt Werner Hideaway the perfect option for your remote working needs.
On the bottom floor you will find a second living area, the other two bedrooms, the laundry room, another full bathroom, as well as access to the hot tub deck, the woods and creek.
The second living area has a sofa, two chairs, a large flat screen smart TV and another fireplace. The sofa pulls out to a queen bed.
One bedroom has a queen bed and both a dresser and a closet.
