Located an easy five minute walk (.2 mile) to the Creekside biking and hiking trail.
Spread out on three levels, this beautiful and spacious three bedroom 2,332 square foot single family home comfortably sleeps nine adults. Log cabin walls, ceilings and floors, stunning artwork and fabulous furniture are highlights throughout the property.
At minimum four different living areas, two indoors and two outdoors, allow for some to relax and have quiet time in one area, while others can be in the other areas of the home.
In the Summer and Fall, take advantage of an unforgettable additional area, with two rocking chairs right next to the creek.

On one side of the fireplace is plenty of comfortable seating with a sofa, loveseat and two chairs. Kick back, relax and watch a game, movie or show on the flat screen smart TV.
On the other side is the updated kitchen and a dining area. The full kitchen offers black granite countertops and stainless appliances, including a 5 burner gas range. It is fully stocked with everything you need to stay in and cook a meal.

Hi Sebastian! Thank you for your review! We're so glad you felt our place was the perfect spot for your stay. We truly appreciate your kind words and would love to host you again. Looking forward to welcoming you back!
As long time locals who have unfortunately moved away due to being priced out of the area, we try to keep our visits as close to a ‘home’ experience as possible. I am still work for my Steamboat employer and come out quarterly. I can’t recommend this little slice of heaven enough! The location is great and the property is a hidden gem! One of the few dog friendly homes, this rental can’t be beat!
We booked this property as a family getaway, the first without our Dad who passed in November. It was the perfect getaway. The location is amazing and the home feels like a treehouse when you’re inside. It’s private and serene with the trickling creek being heard while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you for hosting us in a time of grief. It was just what we needed.

Please know you’re always welcome, and we’d love to host you again whenever you feel ready. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort.
Overall a good place to stay. Somewhat expensive for what you're getting. It was great that you could walk to the thunderhead lift. The fireplace and hot tub were both awesome. A couple things didn't work for us, including the trash compactor, garbage disposal, oven/stove top, and hot tub jets. Plan ahead to carpool as parking is tight

Serene location
Home needs some updating, but all-in-all a peaceful stay at Mt. Werner Hideaway. The hot tub on the deck by the bubbling brook a huge plus! Kitchen is well equipped. Love the centrally featured double sided fireplace! Minuses include old/worn furniture, broken/old lamps, difficulty using 3rd floor Roku, and poor temp control in the basement. Multiple mornings we woke up to 64 degrees. Seemed it was either really hot or really cold down there.

Great home but septic smell was unbearable
The house itself was exactly as we hoped! Unfortunately there were septic issues and the smell was horrible. The management company was unresponsive. We also had no WiFi which the management company was unable to help with.

Thank you for coming to visit and we do apologize for the issues during your stay. This was unexpected so we got the first available appointment with a plumber we could and apologize that was the next day. Everything is fixed now so we hope you would consider coming to stay again
