Great Location!

We had so much fun! Great location! Our favorite place on the lake was Franky and Louis…great spot if you have teenagers. Quiet neighborhood! Brian is extremely responsive! Plan on staying here again next year

Enjoyed our stay... townhouse had everything we needed

Brian accommodated us to arrive one night early. We caught fish from the boat dock, saw some of the wildlife, and took a quick trip down to HA Ha Tonka State Park, worth the drive. Would recommend others to stay here if you are looking to just get away to the Lake.

We always have a great time at this location. All of wild life around this time. Deer everywhere to watch. Can’t wait for our next trip down.

Perfect for us!!

Owner’s family that lives in the house below were so sweet. Let us borrow a life jacket for our old golden. Perfect for our family. Only downside is one of the bedrooms smelled strongly of urine and had to use frebreeze daily but that is the trade off for staying where pets are allowed. Location and price were perfect for us. Will def stay there again!!!

Cold A/C but don't spend too much time inside. dock and boat slip access kept us out on the water which only makes sense for a lake trip. well worth it.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME THERE , HIS PARENTS IN FRONT HOUSE WERE SWEET AND NICE AND ANYTHING WE NEEDED THEY GOT. ONLY DOWNFALL IS DRIVEWAY IS A LITTLE STEEP. BOAT LIFT A PLUS

Comfortable and Quiet Getaway

We had made last minute plans for a fishing getaway to the lake. We were so fortunate to find availability at this pet friendly property! The townhouse was modern, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The owner is very easy to reach for any questions or needs and his parents, the local 'landlords' are delightful and very accommodating and gracious hosts. We were given personal help getting to/from the nearby boat launch and tips on where to fish. We look forward to visiting again!

Nice quiet area on a dead end road

I was looking for something that had a private dock and swimming area but was a little more modern than a "knotty pine" cabin, and this place delivered. It was nice and clean and included everything that you would need for a week away. My husband especially liked the camels nearby. I appreciated the turnaround since we brought our boat. I think the highlight of my trip was laying on the dock at night looking at the stars under the blue glow of the neighboring docks.

Comfortable & inviting get away!

The townhome was comfortable and warmly decorated. It includes a deck that looks out over the lake. The owner's parents who live right in front of the townhome were exceptionally friendly. This rental suited us perfectly as it is adjacent to Gladstone Cove where I have family. The only downside is that it took over 2 weeks to get my deposit refund. I will rent again when visiting the Lake.

wonderful little condo

We had a great visit in this condo--great lake view, easy to get to the dock, and on a fun part of the water. The condo itself was clean and well-maintained. EXTREMELY hospitable landlords close by. We had a baby and they brought down a rocking chair to the dock for us and then a life vest for our dog who wanted to swim. You can't get that kind of service at a hotel!

Great vacation at the lake.

We had a great time at the lake, swimming, boating, tubing. We rented a boat from Captain Mike’s by the dam. Doug and Erika were very friendly and kind. I love the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. I recommend replacing the mattress in 2nd bedroom upstairs as it caves to the middle. The beds in the master bedroom downstairs and the bunk beds are very comfortable. The Canyon BBQ restaurant was very good. Pizza Hut was nearby. Thank you so much for a great vacation.

Lake time, baseball and an amazing place to stay!

This property was PEFECT for our family of 5. Our oldest has a baseball tournament and we decided to make a foly road trip out of it. Location was great. Private and quiet. Close to water. Very friendly neighbors. Wonderful area to walk around with your dog and kids! Brian was AMAZING his place is nice and perfect for what most people should need. It suited us perfectly. Large enough. Clean. Everything worked. It was wonderful. We will be back for sure!

Charming Place and Sweet Times

Summer is beautiful here. Morning sun rises over the pristine undeveloped part across the lake and rays bounce in thru the giant picture window. Walks up the road lead to horse stables and an exotic animal refuge. Place was clean. Questions handled immediately by owner’s parents. The convenience of having our own boat slip affiliated with the home is priceless. Loved time spent on swim dock. Husband bagged fish all day. Super experience will come again.

Just okay, price is inline for the unit

Upon entering the unit you are met with a really strong smell of musty water. The unit has had some updates since the pictures were taken. The air worked great during the day, but would shut off at night and got up to near 80 degrees. We actually cut our trip a day short due to this issue. The owners dad lives just down on the first tier and was very helpful and nice.

Great stay at the lake on a budget.

First- the cleaner’s husband was a fishing guide as well. Happenstance we ran into him and got the best fishing and lake guide tour we have had in ages. He had the best tips. We even went to his place and we cleaned and fried the fish and brought it back. The house itself is into the hill overlooking the lake. We caught about 15 fish from the small dock but it’s not exactly perfect for bass more of a catfish spot. Obviously If I had my kayak or a boat it would be different. The horses and animals on the way in we’re very friendly and loved carrots. Civilization is a 20 min drive away. Don’t forget anything! The place was updated and well worth the price. Could use alittle better state of repair but the owner was open about the issues. Again you can’t beat what you get for the price!

Very comfortable stay!

Nice location. Quiet area and pretty view. There is a house between this property and the lake access, but it doesn't interfere with the lake view at all. I enjoyed my morning coffee from the deck. The owner's father lives across the street and is very friendly and helpful. We were in town for a family reunion and mainly used the property for sleeping, no water activity, so i can only review the house part. Texted the owner for the door code upon arrival. You have to walk up a fairly steep driveway to get to the deck steps, then up the deck stairs to get to the exterior door. Once inside, 2 bedrooms are on the upper floor. If you don't do inclines or stairs well, it may not be best for you. We, however, had no issues and were very happy with our stay. Great air conditioning and all appliances worked well. Kitchen had everything we needed. No bunk beds like in the picture which was a pleasant surprise. Flooring in main area was in good shape. Carpet on steps shows foot traffic but someone mentioned it would be replaced soon. Really easy to get to town (Laurie). Unfortunately I had to work 3 days of my stay. I work from home on the computer and the internet worked great.

Off season accommodated

First please understand that anything in the "needs improvement" column may very well be because it is off season and not the usual mode of operation. First, and most important to us was the beds, bathrooms, and kitchen were clean. The view was pleasant and the neighborhood quiet and safe. We saw several deer just sauntering about. We did have trouble getting in but the host made himself very available to help troubleshoot. Communication was quite good. The attention to detail left a little to be desired but overall a nice stay in a nice lake home.
