The space
My place is my home so I want it to be comfortable and feel like home.
I try to provide all household items the guest might require such as soap, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, shampoo. Also cooking pots and utensils - if I'm missing something - I'll provide it. I live on the other side so I am available - but not in your way.
I just added a 6 person patio table with a large parasol and barbecue.
And also updated to a new air conditioner.
The house is electric heating.
Full front-loading clothes washer and top-end clothes dryer, and dishwasher. Full fridge, counter-top stove, microwave, coffee-maker, coffee grinder, kettle, toaster and fully-functional kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Bedding, pillows, extra blankets, linen, towels provided. 17" deep, long bath with shower. Air conditioner may seem noisy to some people but can be muffled by closing the doors. Two queen size beds, one double bed.
High speed internet with Videotron Helix 400 MBs per second.
Guest access
Entire house - this side of duplex has three bedroom, two entrances and two washrooms. Other side of duplex is completely separate and is rented long-term.
Other things to note
My home is quiet - off the beaten path - and 90 metres from the Gatineau river. It is very close and accessible to Parliament, downtown Ottawa and Gatineau and to the great outdoors of the Gatineau area. It truly is Comfy by the River as I called it on Airbnb. I was a superhost for 5 years on Airbnb.
