This was a great place to stay for our family as we visited our son at Valparaiso U. It's a good well-stocked home in a great neighborhood. Everything is about 5 minutes away.
Check in was convenient and the host was able to get us in a little bit early which was nice. The property is well-maintained and in a convenient location. We made good use of the kitchen for making coffee, having breakfast, and occasional lunches and dinners.
Inside was clean and perfect for our stay. The outside was a little concerning when we got there because it wasn’t as kept up or updated like the inside. Not a deal breaker to stay again, just an observation. Love the neighborhood and proximity to downtown. It’s a nice leisurely walk there and back.
Excellent host, good location, well stocked. 3 houses from Ben Franklin Middle. This was My 3rd visit to the house. Easy drive to Chesterton Dunes and Portage. Will return again when on business.
We enjoyed our stay in this home located in central, historic Valparaiso. We found a remarkable transformation has been done to the home which is over 100 years old. The home felt comfortable and all the supplies and appliances are updated. We had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We took many walks in the lovely neighborhood and the home is in walking distance to the shops and restaurants located in downtown Valparaiso. We'd stay there again.
It was clean and roomy, just like the photos. Very safe, comfortable place to bring an elderly parent for a visit. The kitchen is amazingly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a huge assortment of delicious coffees! Split bedroom arrangement allows for privacy. We had such a relaxing stay here!
Immaculately clean and very well-appointed, with numerous thoughtful touches (sleep masks by the bed, sewing kit, pantry items, plenty of ice, selection of coffees and teas, etc.). Comfortable beds, comfortable seating in living room. Good communication leading up to stay. Prompt response from property manager to a minor problem on a Friday night (dead battery on the electronic door lock). A 10 minute stroll to the in-laws' house. Highly recommend!

Perfect home
Our stay was amazing at this house! Our host Lori was incredible with communication and made us feel so welcome! We received our access code early enough so we didn’t have to wait once check in time approached. The house was so clean and beautiful. It’s modern, open, and a place I could live in full time. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! Tons of seating in the house, with my 6 year old granddaughter loving the bar stools at the island. Plenty of room for my grandson to crawl around. It was so close to downtown as well! I will definitely return for another stay! I hope Lori will continues to to be my contact as she was excellent!
My husband and I reserved this place to visit family in the area for Memorial weekend to just have a place to sleep. Turns out, we wanted to hang out at this house as it was gorgeously done and gave us our own beautiful space. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We have excellent communication from our host Lori! She made sure all of our needs were met. When we arrived, the code worked (not always the case in some places ), and we were very excited to see how clean, tastefully decorated, and open it was! It looked brand new! There was plenty of seating for relaxing or eating. My granddaughter loved sitting in the bar stools and my grandson had plenty of room to crawl around. Two bathrooms made it perfect and we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen…perfection! It had everything we needed and more! We were so close to downtown. It was the best VRBO we have ever chosen. We will be back! Thank you so much Lori! You’re the best!
