The Space:
As you enter through the gate in to the lovely front yard, you will find an inviting porch with two wooden rocking chairs to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or your morning coffee. Enter through the front door into the open living and dining area with ample space to gather for dinner or enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV located in the living room. Utilize the newly renovated and thoughtfully curated kitchen to whip up a meal for the group. The kitchen is fully equipped and features stainless steel appliances, ample counter space and natural light from the outdoors!

There are two bedrooms to choose from - each with a queen bed, luxury linens and and inviting decor. The primary bedroom provides a desk space, perfect for the traveling worker! The two bedrooms share a full bathroom equipped with a shower and a bath tub - making it easy for a family getaway.

Need a little extra space? There is also a casita - room for 2 additional guests, in Cherico Casita. Step inside and get drawn in by the clean lines and peaceful decor. Several windows let natural light in, adding to the beauty and comfort of the space. Chic table and chairs beckon you to sit and have a cup of coffee and there's a coffeemaker and fridge in the kitchenette when you're ready to do just that. If you prefer being a little closer to nature, take your drink outside to the bench on the patio framed and shaded by a beautiful, large tree. Relax in the plush queen bed and catch up on your shows with the large smart tv. When it's time to go out exploring Austin, you have a full bathroom with shower to get ready. Everything you need in one cozy space!

Guest Access:
We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Portoro Homes uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

The Neighborhood:
The east side of Austin, with its industrial-chic brewpubs, craft cocktail lounges and live-music rooms, picks up the pace after dark. Art galleries, vintage boutiques, bike shops and coffee houses mix with Mexican restaurants and BBQ joints. The Tejano Walking Trail honors the neighborhood’s music pioneers, while the Mexican-American Cultural Center stands nearby in the Rainey Street Historic District. Just a short drive away are delicious venues like Bufalina Pizza, Launderette, La Barbecue, Oseyo or Kemuri Tatsu-Ya. Other spots include coffee at Lou’s or Flat Track, cold beer at Blue Owl Brewing or East Side Tavern, cocktails at High Noon and so much more. For breakfast (open at 7:00 am) visit Juan in a Million for Tex-Mex and tacos. Or it’s just a short walk to Gati Coffee, Pastries, and Eats, just down the street offering several homemade, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan pastries (even donuts before 10 am). Getting Around:
Austin is an easy city to get around without a car in this location! Walk, rent a scooter or bike, easy access to Uber/Lyft. Austin offers plenty of transportation options. Ridesharing, micro-mobility, and mass transit are available everywhere. The airport is just 15 minutes away.

- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement.
- To ensure your safety, proper access to the home and guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival and notify Portoro with any questions.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Check out considerations will be sent the day before departure.
- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or checkout late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late checkout is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Reservations made during Festivals and Conferences, i.e., SXSW, ACL, F1, etc, are non-refundable.
- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.
- There is ample free street parking and access to the home is via a pedestrian gate.
- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.

Interaction with Guests:
Portoro Homes communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 48 hours prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by email/text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7.
