This home has a lot of potential. It was very roomy and had ample space for us to hang out in. The kitchen did have pots, pans, plates, and silverware. However it did not have cutting boards, cookie sheets, mixing bowls, and some other necessities needed if you plan to cook while you are there. Our only true issue was the heating. If it was comfortable downstairs, it was very warm upstairs. We just cracked a window to mitigate it because we had people sleeping in all bedrooms.
While the location of this property was very convenient for our trip, we found the stay disappointing due to several issues with the accuracy of the listing and amenities. The property appears new but is already showing wear and tear.Pros:* The property's location was ideal for our travel plans.* We felt safe during our stay and enjoyed jogging in the neighborhood.* The large kitchen space was a definite plus. Cons:* The listing was inaccurate, with only one king bed available, not two as advertised.* The quality of the linens was poor, with holes found in the comforters. There were also no hand towels provided.* For such a large kitchen, the supplies were extremely limited, with only a couple of skillets and one pan.* The previous guests' laundry (sheets and towels) was left over-stuffed in the washer and dryer. We had to finish the cycles ourselves, which was an unwelcome surprise.* The property is already showing signs of wear, suggesting a lack of upkeep despite being new. Specific issues included battered finishes and blinds that need attention.* Several random items were scattered throughout the cabinets and drawers. Recommendation: Investing in higher-quality, durable decor and bedding (including mattress pads and new pillows) would greatly improve the guest experience. A more thorough cleaning protocol is also needed to ensure the space is fully prepared for each new arrival.

Plenty of Space but Lacking Some Helpful Details
Overall, the stay was fine. However, there a few details that would have made the stay more comfortable. The house was easy to access, both in terms of location and unlocking the front door. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, but the living room rug seemed like it hadn't been vacuumed. The listing stated there was a California king, a regular king, and three queen beds. However, there was only one regular king bed and four queens. The listing also said complimentary toiletries, although there was a single bottle of baby shampoo and some body wash in one bathroom. We don't mind reusing towels, but there were no towel racks in bathrooms to hang dry and reuse easily (and no hand towels for bathrooms). When we took an extra bath towel out of the upstairs linen closet, we found all of the folded extras were still wet (so we had to dry them before using). Most beds could use more pillows. I would also recommend adding mattress pads and/or protectors to the beds. The spray arm inside the dishwasher was also detached and just sitting on the upper rack. While this isn't related to the comfort of the home, some of the decor was really odd (still had stickers/tags from the store, curtains where there aren't windows, 7 of the same knickknack...). The host called and then texted (presumably to check in/welcome us) at 10pm on Friday night, which felt a bit late, though I appreciate the gesture. Also, I think this house could sleep way more than 10 people.

Suzanne, we’re so glad you appreciated the location, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following:- We’ve updated the bed listing so it accurately reflects what’s in the home, and we're taking a fresh look at capacity based on your helpful note- More toiletries, hand towels, towel racks, pillows, and mattress protectors are being added to make things more comfortable and convenient- The dishwasher spray arm has been taken care of, and we’re double-checking that all linens are fully dried before they’re placed in the home- We're sorry the late-night check-in call felt intrusive—it came from a good place, but we’ll be reaching out earlier from now onThanks for taking the time to leave your review.
House was very nice, brand new and very clean. Great location for spending time in Indy and just a short drive to downtown. Because the property was so new it had not been furnished yet with the essentials. No silverware, no utensils, no pots and pans or bakeware. Since this is a five bedroom home, assumed there would be plates and cups for more than just 4 people. The kitchen is loaded with cabinets but all empty. There is only one King bed in house upstairs even though advertised with two kings, one being downstairs. The beds are new but rock hard. My daughter went out and bought mattress toppers because we couldn’t take the hardness and we are not picky sleepers. This really needs to be addressed because none of us slept good and this ruined our stay. There was also not towels for each person…there was 10 in our group and we actually had to go buy washcloths to have enough to last the 3 days we were there. There was maybe 6 towels and 6 washcloths. Pool table and table tennis is a nice benefit. The TV was huge in living room but there was no live tv or streaming services available for use as advertised. Our tech savvy family member was able to mirror their phone to stream netflix but this was really inconvenient. Furniture was nice and comfortable, except beds, and layout of house is nice with different areas to gather. Just needs to be furnished with the comforts of home away from home in the kitchen. Also, advertised a garagedoor opener would be available and was not.
Great place and great location. Host was very responsive to questions. Getting to and from Final Four festivities downtown was a breeze. The Final Four is coming back to Indy in 3 yrs, and I will look to book this same exact location.
