Air conditioning didn't work, there was a window open when I arrived close to midnight that I assume was to try cool off the suite that was over 90F inside. There was no screen on the window and the place was full of bugs flying around. Sitting on top of the window AC unit were a couple Pidgeons that were making noise and pooping on the window. How I'm the trouble maker based on the hosts review is beyond me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Certainly not as described.

This is to explain why Terry is a trouble maker: He made an inquiry about his booking whether we had partking spot and we replied we did and we sent a invitation to him for booking. He accepted it , Vbro charged on his credit card. Then he made a second booking with a cheaper rate (promotion) and Vrbo charged again for it. He sent an email and complained why he got charged twice. So we cancelled one and sent him the cancellation. He then booked at different property for his stay and figured that he had 2 bookings. He phoned us and asked whether he could cancel his reservation with us and we advised him that as it was last minute booking , the time frame does not allow us to do it. He should call VrBo for help and he said he would. We assumed he was in the process of cancelling it. But around mid night, he showed up to check in and complained the room was too hot. We asked him to turn on the the A/C. He said he did but the A/C does not work. We checked it and found that he put the knob in the fan not cool position and it made the room even hotter. Then he complained the window does not have a screen. Apparently, previous guest removed the screen to open the window and left it on the floor. He questioned us why we had not turned the A/C on before he came. We let guest turn it on himself when needed as some don't like A/C. He admitted not familiar with the apps and made mistake on the booking. He was very bossy and demanded. about full of bugs is a liar.

Place Needs Maintenance! Pigeons outside windows. Stove burner not working. Faucet in bathroom loose. Windows hard to operate, if at all possible. Glad close to Food Fare market and bus lines. Glad security worked.

A very old house that has not been updated. Security is good and instructions to use were clear and consise. AC unit was an older model and leaked water over floor causing musty smell. Laundry was in the basement and we were not allowed to use due to ongoing construction. Place is not worth what was being asked however it is downtown and close to restaurants and grocery store on a busy one way street

Thank you for your review. Our rate is as low as a compsite spot at any national park. The reason it was added up and you have to pay for the final price was 3 kinds of taxes (18%) booking fee (18%) and cleaning fee. In the end it is not even enough for us to pay taxes licenses utilities maintenance. We appreciated your booking to stay with us and we are striving to improve our condition to serve. Have a good one !
