The cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in by far. Everything was so stocked and there really wasn’t anything I had to ask the host for bc they anticipated any need we might’ve needed (ex. Umbrella, extra towels, etc and left clear directions. Area was very safe and close to lots of places. Thank you for having us!

Fabulous location! Perfect for UW events, hikes in the arboretum or just exploring Madison Park. Easy access to downtown Seattle as well. The place is equipped with everything you would need plus you can enjoy cocktails right outside your door or in the owner’s garden. It’s quiet and in a lovely neighborhood. Best VRBO I've ever been in! The owners clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the comfort of their guests and made the place feel like home away from home. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-cared for, plus all furnishings/amenities were in like-new condition. The neighborhood was safe, charming and super quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to rent in Seattle

About the host
Hosted by Katya Coachman
Katya and Lee have been hosting our 1926 Laurelhurst house lower level apartment for 6 years. We have recently added two beautiful brand new lower level apartments in our 1947 family MCM house in Montlake/Arboretum. We love hosting and running this small family-owned business. Getting super positive feedback from our guests is very rewarding!
Why they chose this property
Montlake/Arboretum is a wonderful neighborhood of older historic single-family homes in the heart of Seattle. It's calm, quiet and green without the hustle-bustle you'll experience in more dense Seattle neighborhoods while being incredibly convenient and close to all that Seattle has to offer. We love that you can easily walk to the Arboretum and Interlaken Parks while being 5 minutes away from fun neighborhoods of Capitol Hill, Madison Park and Madison Valley.
What makes this property unique
Our house is situated on a wonderful private cul-de-sac of Colonial Revival and Mid Century Modern homes just a block away from the famed UW Arboretum and a 10 minutes walk to the Japanese Garden. You'll enjoy staying in a completely private apartment in the lower level of our family home with a large shared private back yard/patio and a front entry deck. Arboretum offers multiple access points to Lake Washington and you're just 7 minutes drive from Madison Park Beach.
