Was a great place lots of character. Was not difficult to get it the gate and was very icy in the driveway entrance. Some minor repairs would do this place well
We had a lovely stay here. Slightly tricky to find, but the host gave us good instructions and was always quick to respond to any queries etc. It’s an old property so has an unusual layout (one bedroom downstairs, with all other bedrooms / living space upstairs). Amenities etc were all as described. A very quiet location, but with easy access to key attractions.
Lovely place close to Central Park in Old Louisville. Garden area needed a bit of weeding to match photos. Shower rod in down bath was sagging. But overall clean and a good choice for a family.
This house is a beautiful historical home. The home is older so there are a few things that remind you of that but its definitely a great stay. There's plenty of parking nearby, the garage is convenient, and everything's within a 15 minute drive max.
The beds were wonderful. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. We would certainly book again. The garage was a bit hairy getting in and out of but manageable. Really nice place to enjoy the expo.
Nice place to stay. Beautiful backyard with fireflies. Clean place, has everything you need. Planes flying over head 24 hrs a day was not something i planned on dealing with. My fault not theirs. Not the safest feeling neighborhood. But house was everything they said.
My friend/business partner and I were in town for GAMAExpo at KICC. The carriage house was wonderful. We each had our own queen bedroom and bathroom and there was even a 3rd bedroom we never used. The home was very clean, spacious, and even had a garage for us to use. Hosts were very communicative. Highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible experience due to Hosts refusal to communicate with us. We reached out on multiple days and got 0 communication back for things as important as access issues. I wouldn’t trust this host to manage any property I ever stay in. Guest left their wallet and realized an hour after checkout at lunch. Tried to contact host and he never returns a message or a call for over day and counting. We contacted VRBO directly and they got in contact with host David. Haven’t heard anything from him since. The house was also very old, had a dewy smell, and super complicated to find and enter.

Have I stayed in worse, yes. Would I stay here again or recommend, no.Let me explain:1. Yes, like some reviews state the house is hard to find. No biggie. You are basically in 2 alley ways so there is no “street side frontage”. Was fine but the garage was super tiny and if you had to park on the street, it would be hard to find a spot. Additionally, I can’t imagine how you would ever do any food delivery etc. Does it look super safe, no but we had absolutely no issue there.2. The house was simply not clean to our standards. Wet, not damp, but wet towels were placed on every bed so we had to launder them before using. The carpets need replacing and are horribly dirty. Living room chair had mystery stains and the floors did not feel like that they had been swept.3. The downstairs shower majorly leaks and is obvious it’s done it for while since there was visible water damage. 4. The downstairs bedroom is freezing! I realize it’s an old house but at least provide a space heater unit to keep some warmth down there. 5. No light at the steps going to the garage which is super dark and slightly dangerous on the steps. 6. Blinds are needed to dim the lights in all bedrooms not sheer curtains. There is a ton of light streaming in from the alley way. 7. Biggest issue for us was the owner did not communicate at all - only automated canned responses and no answer to our direct messages about check in etc.
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the accommodation I recently booked through your listing. Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations and raised serious concerns.Upon arrival, I found the property to be outdated and in poor condition, which was not accurately represented in the photos. More importantly, the location made me feel unsafe, and this caused significant distress throughout my stay. Due to these issues, I chose to leave the property and secure alternative accommodation at my own additional expense.Furthermore, I attempted to contact the owner multiple times to address these concerns, but received no timely response until after I had already left the city. This lack of communication added to the frustration and inconvenience of the situation.Additionally, locating the property was difficult and stressful, which further impacted my overall experience negatively.Given these circumstances, this home shouldn't be on vrbo site.I hope this feedback will encourage improvements for future guests.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.Sincerely,
Ladasha B.

Owners/managers were completely unresponsive for the duration of my stay, despite saying they could be contacted when necessary. Downstairs shower and toilet were usable, but very broken. Kitchen has so many rules and so few tools, it’s hard to call it functional.Google Nest devices on every floor for some reason. Front gate is warped and you have to hold it up to lock/unlock it. Otherwise, a beautiful vintage home

The location and house were decent. The outdoor area needs to be cleaned up…looks nothing like the pictures. There were no propane tanks to have a fire or grill. Only bath towels available…no hand towels, wash cloths or kitchen towels provided. The gate is very tricky to open and close.
Absolutely horrible. Finding it was fine, but the gate sticks horribly so its a pain to even get to the door. We had multiple issues, no hot water, beer bottle caps and debris everywhere, hair and debris in the beds, leaking shower, surging power, none of the doors stay shut and biggest of all, someone had the code and walked in while we were staying there. The pictures are a complete misrepresentation of the property. And good luck getting ahold of the owner, I made multiple attempts during our stay and not a single one was responded to. I had children with me and the owners complete disregard of safety was absolutely diabolical.
