The area is cute and walkable. The host was super responsive and also provided some additional items that made the stay very pleasant. The place was clean and perfect for 2 couples.
Wonderful property. Wonderful host. House is situated in a charming historic district steps from shops, restaurants, and Main Street. Spacious apartment. Super clean. Comfortable beds. All the kitchen amenities. Just perfect. Would stay again. Easy and quick communication from host.
Had a Great Stay in Kingston for our daughter's college graduation from Bard! Andrea was a very thoughtful and gracious host and engaged with us! Apt was spacious, very well appointed, clean and cozy...in the heart of the Stockade Historic District with lots of shops and places to eat! Will stay here whenever we're in Kingston! Thank You Andrea!
I enjoyed my stay in this lovely, well-appointed apartment. Being able to walk to all the restaurants, cafes and shops of Uptown Kingston was a wonderful experience. Despite all the surrounding activity, the apartment is on a nice quiet street. Andrea provided some nice touches to make me feel most welcome. If you're planning a trip to Kingston, I highly recommend this apartment!
We loved our stay here! The apartment was roomy and clean and well stocked. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars. 15-30 minutes from Woodstock, Saugerties, and Rhinebeck. Great hiking and history in the area.
A very nice unit on the upper floor of an attractive older house. The inside is spacious--seemed larger than the listed square footage. The bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds and lots of storage. The kitchen is a bit small, but perfectly adequate. There's the 'bonus' of a small office in addition to a large living area. The bathroom is fine, with a tub/shower and double sink. The house is on a quiet street with ample on-street parking, some of it metered (Kingston uses an online parking app that I had never heard of, so plan ahead). The location is on the edge of Kingston's historic district. In fact, houses featured in the history walking tour are just a few doors down from this one. There are restaurants within walking distance. Also, the house is reasonably close to the Thruway exit for Kingston, so it's easy to get to without having to drive far into the central part of town. The property manager was fabulous. She stocked the refrigerator with a few essentials before we arrived, gave detailed instructions on parking and the entry locks, and dropped off a missing item that we needed during our stay. This is a lovely, clean, well-managed apartment in a great location at a very reasonable price. It deserves the high ratings it has received. (And, Rough Draft is a great place for coffee or beer!)
Excellent place to stay right in the Stockade district
Andrea’s place was perfect for our family stay. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, and was perfectly located within a short walk of everything in the Stockade district but on a quiet street. Andrea was very kind and helpful. We’d go back for sure.
Andrea is the best short-term rental host! This was one of the MOST AMAZING stays I have ever had. Thank you so much for everything! If you ever want a tenant, I would move in the next day.
We enjoyed our mini vacation at Andrea apartment. It was very clean and it had all the needed supplies including Keurig capsules. She also left us delicious cookies from the bakery around the corner.
The apartment is a walking distance from the shops and coffee places. We would stay there again!
Very comfortable and spacious, renovated apartment on second floor of charming Uptown Kingston historic home.. Within very easy walking distance of the eclectic Stockade District. Very accommodating host! We enjoyed our stay!
Andrea was a great host and was very responsive to my messages! She gave us a delicious recommendation for dinner our second night. Her place was extremely spacious and in an excellent location.
Andrea was an ideal host - her property exceeded our expectations! Beautiful decor, luxurious linens, plenty of space, well-appointed kitchen with appreciated 'extras' and great communication before, during and after our stay. Highly-recommended and hope to return!
This property was perfect for our weekend in Kingston. Lovely neighborhood, lots of restaurants just blocks away, including Rough Draft bookstore/cafe/bar a block away which was a hit with the whole family. We hiked Mohonk Preserve by day and enjoyed the backyard and fire at night. Andrea left amenities that went above and beyond the usual rental. Highly recommend!
We were looking for a place, other than a hotel near where my sister lives. It was only about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the location very much. It was very close to restaurants, shops, grocery, banks, etc. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing.
The apartment was very nice, spacious and very clean. We only used one of the two bedrooms and the kitchen was very nice. The bathroom has a stackable washer and dryer which is very convenient for longer stays.
Would consider renting again if we come out to visit again!
