We enjoyed our stay!! The pictures were nice, but the set up of this residence was much nicer. All of the amenities, a quiet neighborhood. And both, the residence and the neighborhood were peaceful.We would stay here again!

Home away from Home. Host response was welcoming and quick to reply. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. Easy access to anything you want or need. Perfect location to avoid tolls getting in and out of Chicago. Definitely will be back. Easily fits 10 people if you bring the whole family.

The host was acomodating and easy to contact! I will say we were misinformed with some details of this rental. This rental is NOT in Chicago, IL. As a nonlocal, I was very confused when we arrived. This rental is around 40 minutes away from downtown Chicago, IL, and it is in fact located in a town named East Chicago, INDIANA. We did not really feel safe in this area, it did not feel family friendly at all, and quite creepy. We did not feel safe to walk outside, so just be aware of this. The property manager, is a man, who is quite nice, but lives in the unit above us, and the entrance is the same. If that does not bother you, then it is fine, but with a group of young adult women, we did not feel entirely the safest to be so close to someone that has a spare key to the unit. Additionally, the unit itself was okay, but subpar. Some newer appliances, but we found it fairly dirty -- with dirty floors, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, stained sheets in the basement rooms, and very dirty bathrooms. Some furniture and baseboards also had dust and grime, There was also some flooding in the entrance when it rained. It was an okay stay, but for 1000 for 5 nights, we expected better. Just want to be transparent with everyone since we felt mislead until we saw it in person.

The house was spacious and nice but nothing was cleaned before we arrived. There was glitter, flower petals, and trash left around the house. We even had people who had crumbs in their bed from wherever previously stayed. When we arrived the ac was also broken and in order to get ahold of the owner I had to contact Vrbo to get him to respond.
