I am writing to you from Lourmarin. To be precise, I am writing from my “apartment-studio,” nestled in a house in the old village of Lourmarin. My “nest” is a modest haven imbued with the spirit of Provence, set against a backdrop of old stone and round roof tiles. It embodies the spirit of the arts and literature unique to this region, where Albert Camus and Jean Bosco are laid to rest. Overlooking hills reminiscent of Tuscany, it basks in the soft, bold light of the Luberon. Spanning two floors, two rooms with a kitchenette and a bathroom offer intimate and cosy comfort. Everything here combines functionality to make your holiday or weekend getaway easier. The decor, furniture, and furnishings create a discreet, subdued charm, full of warmth. Tranquility reigns here. And yet, the centre of Lourmarin—a hub of joyful living with its bars, restaurants, and shops—is just fifty metres away.
