First and foremost, Lee and Sandy are wonderful hosts! They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed—even our dog, who had a kennel, bed, and feeding station waiting for him.The main floor of Mountain View Retreat is a charming vintage home with a HUGE kitchen that practically invites you to cook homemade meals. It has everything you could need! The beds are comfortable, and the spacious living room is perfect for kicking back and enjoying family time.The views are amazing, and the large windows make it easy to watch for wildlife. We loved hiking around the property and spending our afternoons and evenings on the porch, taking in the scenery and, after dark, the thousands of stars.We highly recommend Mountain View Retreat to couples and families looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to enjoy the beauty of Bayfield!
