Location was fantastic, home is in a cute little neighborhood where we had trick or treaters, rode bikes and walked our dog. Close to the city (affordable to uber)!Sink was backed up and had to fix ourselves, toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the hand soap was water!!!
This was a very nice property that was able to hold eight people comfortably. The neighborhood was the most attractive part of this property. It is in walkable distance to a lot of stores and restaurants, and felt very safe. Property was clean and there were many towels and linens available. My only complaint was that the basement was not fully set up upon arrival and someone access the property without us knowing to finish setting it up halfway through our stay.

Problems
First off when we arrived main floor bathroom was excessively dirty. Had problems with the air conditioning our entire stay! Would not cool down in the house. There was no broom or cleaning rags for us to use.
Location great, outside of house great, neighborhood and neighbors are great. Now the issues….1. AC can’t keep up house never got below 73 even at night. 80s inside during the day.2. Furniture is too big for the rooms, odd configuration, especially the “master”.3. Un planned guests… there was a contractor working in the basement area 3 of our 4 days there. Woke up the family one day with drilling. Had to wait on the second bathroom because of this, daughters didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower down there with someone else in the house. 4. Kitchen pans, how hard is it to have decent nonstick pans available, this is a pet peeve of mine but still a detractor.
This house has a nice location, but is not ready to be rented yet- Either thermostat doesn’t work or AC not strong enough - 80 degrees during the day and too cold at night- Two days of very noisy construction during our stay which was “mandatory” according to owner. It turns out it was part of an ongoing basement renovation that was not time sensitive, but he didn’t care about our inconvenience and wanted to get his project finished. After we complained several times, he called them off.- Outlet doesn’t work in kitchen, which meant we had to switch out and move appliances if we wanted to use the microwave or toasterWi-Fi went out for two days following a temporary outage. Router was old and “insufficient to handle multiple devices” according to Comcast and could not be rebooted. Everything worked fine after the old modem was replaced with the proper one from Comcast- Mattress in master is like a hammock- Had to sign into our own streaming service on Hulu - none in the house Crappy Roku remote that requires multiple button presses to move the cursor or select anything. Owner knows about it but didn’t replace- No outlet in the main bathroom, requiring my wife to dry her hair in the kitchen

From the owner: "Hi Thomas, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the home clean and comfortable during your stay. I always want guests to feel welcomed and at ease.I completely understand that things like Wi-Fi or smart home features can be tricky at times, and I do my best to help whenever possible. At the same time, this is a short-term rental rather than a full-service property, so the experience and amenities may not match what you might find at a luxury resort. Regarding the Wi-Fi, there was an unexpected outage in the area that was unfortunately beyond my control. As soon as I was aware of the issue, I reached out to the provider and replaced the router the next day, following their guidance. I realize this may have still been frustrating, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience it caused. I truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps me continue to improve the experience for future guests. Wishing you all the best in your future travels."
