We stayed at Bluewater resort for our spring vacation week. Our unit was clean and had an unbelievable view of the ocean. The unit itself could use a new bed in front room as it was extremely uncomfortable. However, the second bedroom had two fairly comfortable beds. There was plenty to do for the kids in town.

Room was “clean” to the visible eye. Behind night stands, baseboard and shower grout were dirty and gross. The air filter was covered in thick dirt. With one of the biggest balconies of the resort, we only had 2 chairs and a table. One of the chairs broke while going to sit in it on the first day and they replaced it with a black folding chair that wasn’t comparable. The rental company was very communicative. The dish washer was broken with water at the bottle and dirty dishes. They did communicate to us that a work order was being placed however it would have been nice to know when the repair guy was coming. A text message or an arrival time would have been nice so someone could be there. Overall- it was a beach vacation and we weren’t in the room a lot but you could tell that it was a place rented many times and not checked on enough. Things were breaking. Not a lot of dishes and cups, no mattress covers were on the beds.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're glad to hear our communication was helpful and that you were still able to enjoy your beach vacation despite the concerns you encountered. We sincerely apologize for the housekeeping and maintenance issues you described, including the dirt behind the furniture and in the shower grout, the condition of the air filter, the broken balcony chair, and the dishwasher issue. We understand that these details can make a difference in the overall comfort and experience of a stay. We also appreciate your comments regarding the limited balcony furniture and kitchen supplies, as well as your concern about not receiving an estimated arrival time for the maintenance technician. We understand that advance notice would have allowed you to better plan around the repair. Your feedback will be shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams and the property owner so these concerns can be reviewed. We appreciate you choosing Elliott Beach Rentals and are glad our communication helped, and we hope to provide you with a more comfortable experience on a future stay.

Needs Updating

View was spectacular and that was the best part. Furniture is filthy and we had to put sheets on them to sit down. One of the bedroom pillows had spit stains on it with no pillowcase. There were no ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the TVs definitely need updated. The front bedroom needs blackout curtains as it’s like daylight in there at night with the two hall lights blasting thru the windows. Parking situation was horrible with way too many cars and not enough spaces. Lastly, it rained quite a bit while there and the indoor pool was closed as well as one of the outdoor pools. This was not indicated on the listing and should have been.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the spectacular view—that’s certainly one of the highlights of the property. However, we’re truly sorry to hear about the cleanliness and comfort concerns, including the condition of the furniture, bedding, and the lack of blackout curtains. These issues do not meet our standards, and we’ve shared your comments with our housekeeping and property teams for immediate review and corrective action. We also understand your frustration with the parking situation and the unavailability of certain amenities during your stay. We apologize for the inconvenience, especially regarding the indoor and outdoor pools. You're absolutely right—if a facility is unavailable, that should be clearly communicated, and we’ll be working to ensure that all amenity updates are reflected accurately in our listings moving forward. Thank you again for your feedback—it’s essential in helping us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to offer a better experience in the future.
