The house was great! Perfect layout for our family of 12. It was very clean and comfortable. The property managers were very organized, very professional, and very responsive. Our only complaint and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that the description said there was an indoor pool. To be exact VRBO says it’s a rare find “Relax in the indoor poolA rare find in this area - enjoy a swim, whatever the weather”Which was perfect since the forecast for Memorial Day weekend was cold and rain for most of the weekend. However what the VRBO post failed to mention is the indoor pool was not on site but rather a 20 minute drive up to McHenry at a fitness center for area residents. Not an ideal place to take a family of 12 who were there for a mini vacation. If it wasn’t so cold and raining all weekend it wouldn’t have been much of an issue. We were quite disappointed the pool wasn’t within the gated community we were staying in. To be fair they did accommodate our request for a later check out at no charge for the inconvenience and miss representation of the pool not being on site. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and the house was really beautiful.
