About this property

Farmstead at Solis Permaculture

This private 2 BR suite is surrounded by mature trees, rolling hills, and stunning views. It features 2 bedrooms (each with a queen bed ) , a bright and inviting kitchen, a full bathroom, and an open-concept living room. Note that the suite has its own private entrance and is located above the garage. We are a family of 4 with 2 friendly puppies (huskies), and are exited to share with you a special stay at our farm house "Solis Permaculture". We are currently growing a fruit orchard and vegetable garden . We are passionate about bee, this is why you will find a few beehives in our yard! This acreage is a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and yet close to the city .

10 minutes West of SW Calgary ring road, this property is in a beautiful, peaceful location.The host and her husband are a great couple and very responsive to any queries.

Our stay at Farmstead at Solis Permaculture was everything we had hoped for! Just a short 15 min drive to Calgary, this beautiful acreage in the foothills is also close to the wonderful Bragg Creek and Elbow River areas. An area known for incredible farmer’s markets and beautiful views. The suite had everything we needed, and Melissa and her family were super friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this acreage for a peaceful, relaxing stay in the amazing hilly and wooded area of the Alberta foothills

My family and I had the most wonderful month at Solis Permaculture! We recently moved to Calgary and needed accommodations while house hunting. Driving into town was a surprisingly quick trip, regardless of the time of day. The unit itself was private, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, and the property and surrounding land felt straight out of a movie. (Pro tip: take a drive down the road around sunset for some of the most beautiful views and plenty of deer and elk sightings!)What made this stay truly special, though, were the hosts. They were warm, communicative, and incredibly hospitable from start to finish. Their kids are around the same age as ours, and we ended up spending time together as families - it turned a simple stay into a genuine connection. That kind of hospitality is rare and helped our family a lot during our transition to Calgary.If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, well-equipped place to stay with hosts who go above and beyond, this is it. We’d return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it enough!
