This house has everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to fix a meal. There are so many games to play, including the arcade. There a lots of pillows and blankets in the super comfortable living room space. The beds are really comfortable too! The river is beautiful. There was plenty of porch seating and the hot tub was great. We loved everything about this house.
This is such a cute and cozy cabin! Very clean and well kept, stocked with all the cooking utensils you need. It sits on a quiet neighborhood street, that also has a pool. We didn’t use it because we visited in February. It’s spacious enough for 8 people, or a family of 4 plus 2 dogs! The location is perfectly situated far enough away from town so as to avoid the crowds and traffic but close enough to make a quick run to Ingles and Dollar General, or to grab a quick bite to eat. We loved being able to walk by the river and catch (and release) rainbow trout, relax in the hot tub, play games on the arcade, or just lounge around watching tv. Definitely somewhere we will visit again!Thank you for sharing your place Nikki!
We’ve been to the area several times but this was our first time staying at this house and it was perfect! Neighbors were all very friendly, the kids enjoyed the river and the pool, perfect location to Helen and downtown Hiawasee. Highly recommend!
We caught the peak color for leaf peeping and the river had plenty of fish. The cabin easily accommodated all 7 of us. We had everything we needed for birthday celebrations and Thanksgiving dinner. We will definitely plan to stay again
Cabin had plenty of room with good sleeping arrangements. The play room was a good feature with games and TV for the kids. We all enjoyed the river, fishing (even though we didn’t catch any rainbow), fire on the riverbank roasting hotdogs and making s’mores. Very nice view!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. We had a great time just relaxing and exploring the area. Very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, super comfy couches, and a serene outdoor area. Owner was very responsive to the couple small issues we had. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and nice.
We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and nice. While we stayed, we hiked the High Shoals Falls which was only 5 minutes away. My kids had so much fun. The owner, Michelle, responded to me promptly when I had questions. I highly recommend this place.

This was a family vacation for the 4th. House was spacious and in a great location to get to Hiawassi and the lake. We enjoyed watching the rabbits and groundhogs in the field in front of the house. The river had huge trout in it which thrilled my grandson and the pool behind the house was a definite plus with the small one. Communication with hostess was top notch and questions were quickly answered.
We’ve stayed at many cabins in Georgia and Carolina’s as family vacation. This cabin is in a great location with lots to do. Helen is about a 25 min drive through the curvy roads and lots of other things to do locally with a 15 min drive. Our favorite place to relax with our children was the sandbar. The cabin itself has a river we fished in and floated down (15 mins). We caught lots of little fish that are all catch and release. The property managers communication was spot on. The garbage cans were full with loose trash from the previous renters and the “community pool” was green. She responded quickly and the next day they came to take the trash out and the pool was “treated”. The pool cleaner left a note saying it was cleaned but when we went to go later that afternoon, it still wasn’t swimmable, speaking from a pool owner. None of which is a ding on the cabin itself. Overall, it served the purpose we needed it to serve! There are floats, baby items, dog cage (I wish I knew because we brought our own), fishing poles, and everything you need!
We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at this cabin in GA right on the river. Everything was clean and there was just enough to do activity wise but very comfortable to rest. The owner was attentive with any questions or needs that arose. Our kids loved floating the river and roasting s’mores in the fire pit. It was great! We plan to come back in the future. ❤️
Renting went fine. The cabin is in a convenient location and we enjoyed our stay. The house needs a little TLC—like repairing lights that don’t work in the kitchen and bathroom, repair window shades, and add updated TVs. We loved the creek near the cabin. The changing leaves were beautiful!

Great floor plan
Plenty of room at this cabin - bedrooms are far apart. Close enough to the town of Hiawassee, just a 5 minute drive. The cabin does not have a dishwasher but otherwise the kitchen well stocked. The living area is large with 3 full size couches.

COZY AND CLEAN
This was a very clean cabin in a nice quiet community. Easy access to the river and convenient to just about anything you might decide to do. Many close sights to see. The only thing wrong is it's two story with only one A/C unit, which makes it much hotter upstairs and still cool downstairs. Overall great stay and friendly staff. Quick response from owner/manager with any concerns you might have.

Thank you for booking with us. Sorry to hear about the A/C trouble. We have 2 zones with upstairs and downstairs having their own thermostat so not sure what the cause was, but glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.
We stayed at this beautiful cabin near the river for 1 week. 7 of us ranging from 7 to 70 years old. We all loved it so much and didn’t want to leave. Floating down the river was definitely a highlight. The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. Location to the lake was convenient. Nikki was very responsive, accommodating and understanding. Definitely a super host! We’d love to come again!
My husband had a tough year with cancer treatments that he completed in March. To celebrate he and I took or dog up to this cabin hoping for some relaxation and rejuvenation. It was just perfect! Everything was exactly as advertised. Beautiful river filled with trout, Mountain View’s, waterfalls hikes nearby, convenient to everything we needed, kitchen was very well supplied, and comfortable beds. We loved it, our dog loved it- we hope to be back in the fall! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The cabin is in a good location on the Hiawassee River. It's spacious as it suited 6 adults and a toddler with room to spare. It's in close proximity to Helen, Dahlonega and Cleveland, GA, all within a half hour to an hour. Very close to Lake Chatuge. The hot tub is for two people, but very clean. The neighborhood pool is nice and never crowded. It's literally at the end of the driveway. You get a lot for the price. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for families.

We were very displeased with our stay to say the least. We selected this cabin specifically because of the amenities that it offered for my nieces 18th b-day.We traveled 8 hours, I took off from work, and my nieces and her friends missed school. We arrived on Friday evening and a few things we noticed were that the cabin was not as clean as expected due to paying cleaning fees. There was hair in the shower, we found hair in one of the beds and stains on the mattress padding, and dust about the cabin (extra dust on the blinds). Thankfully we brought our own blankets and sheets, and we stripped the beds immediately as we were unaware of the last time the items have actually been cleaned. My niece suffers from asthma and had to use her inhaler on more than one occasion. The owners request that you wash the dishes and put them away before your stay, but they obviously do not check if people clean the dishes before they put them away. When we went to use the dishes they still had food on them and we had to wash them again before they could be used. One of the biggest selling points for a group of teenage girls was the hot tub.The hot tub DID NOT WORK.We turned it on and the girls hopped in before realizing that it wot heating up.We followed all of the instructions, we tried troubleshooting and even called the owner who said it would take about 2 hours for the hot tub to heat up, the girls waited in the bathing suits for 5 hours and the hot tub only rose 3 degrees to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. When they attempted to take showers the hot water ran out in a couple of minutes. One of the girls had to take a cold shower to get the chemicals off from the hot tub they were unable to enjoy. There was also an issue with the heating system in the house. The heat rises, as in any two-story home, but the heat upstairs was unbearable while it was freezing downstairs. We tried to light the fireplace to stay warm and found that the cabin was not equipped with any lighters that could be used to light the fire, or any firewood. The owners neglected to mention that the nearest supermarket is appx 1 1/2 hours away, we bought firewood and had an old lighter, but the only store in sight was the gas station, and they were out of lighters. The home is located so far from anything and it’s so dark as the roads have have no lighting, and the roads are very dangerous at night that we couldn’t go anywhere else in search of a lighter. We ended not being able to ended not being able to use it.

The first time we heard from the this renter was when she attempted to get a refund from HomeAway the week following her visit.
We have an on site property manager and live within a mile of the cabin. Had she called, we could have assisted her within a few minutes.
Our cabin is professionally cleaned each stay. It is inspected by our property manager prior to guests arrival. The hot tub worked fine. The night they visited it was 15 degrees. It clearly stated you must leave the cover on the hot tub when it is cold for it to heat properly. There was nothing wrong with the hot water heater.
Our cabin is located on the Hiawassee River on a flat, paved, private road about 1/4 mile off State road 75 South. It is a very easy access property which is why many of our guests come on motorcycles. You may travel on four lane highways from Interstate 75 to Hiawassee which is 5 miles from our cabin.
There are two very nice grocery stores in Hiawassee less than 5 minutes away. There are many others with in 15-20 minutes in Hayesville NC, Blairsville, GA and Helen, GA. There are two walmarts withing 20 minutes.
This person is an attorney out of Florida who has used threats in an attempt to get money back by making false statements and threats of bad reviews.
You can see from our other reviews our cabin is not as she described. A simple google search will show our location is not as she described, our access is not as she described and available amenities are not as she described.
