Dancing Bream is a beautiful one-level lakefront ranch home with stunning deep-water views year-round. Just two easy steps bring you to the main level, where you’ll find rich kitchen cabinets, countertops, and rich hardwood floors throughout.

This cozy retreat offers three bedrooms with king beds and smart TVs, plus two full bathrooms—one with a walk-in shower and another with a tub/shower combo. One bedroom is accessed through another, and there’s a convenient second entrance from the hot tub area leading directly to a hallway, bedroom, and walk-in shower bath.

The open living area features a large picture window overlooking the lake and a new leather sofa for relaxing. Enjoy flatscreen TVs, Wi-Fi, central heating and air, and a fully equipped kitchen. A washer and dryer are located on the main level for your convenience.

Step outside to multiple deck living areas with breathtaking lake and mountain views. The 5-person hot tub includes a waterfall, multi-color lighting, and year-round scenic vistas. The back porch spans the length of the home, while an extended side porch connects to the hot tub area.

The home sits just 50 feet from the lake under beautiful oak and hickory trees. The private covered dock has deep water all year, one guest boat slip, and two kayaks (single and double) with paddles and life jackets provided. An upstairs sundeck is perfect for relaxing or sunbathing. Enjoy fishing, swimming, or simply watching fish jump and ducks swim by.

Located minutes from downtown Hiawassee off Highway 288, this home offers easy paved-road access, ample parking for up to four cars, and a safe, quiet setting. Best of all, you can enjoy water views from nearly every room—including the great room, kitchen, and master bedroom.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Put all TVs back on cable tv on departure day if games, Netflix or any other device is hooked up to the TVs. If not a $50 tech fee will be assessed.
Put all TV remote controls in front of tvs on day of departure. There will a $50 fee for lost remote controls.
Leave hot tub lid closed when not in use. Clean up excess pet hair or an extra $50 cleaning fee will be assessed.

Booked this lakeside home for a fun fishing trip!Loved that there’s an extra slip for guests. Parking the trailer in the driveway was a challenge, but we managed it. The house is on a dead end road and on a tight turn in the road ((note for boaters)). GPS kept trying to make us go around the “loop.” There’s not a loop and no turn around.Everything was amazing! Perfect views inside and outside. Fully furnished kitchen, comfy beds, great hot tub, lots of birds. The smaller bathroom shower is tight, but there’s an entire other bathroom with a full size tub/shower. We enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful Lake front home in Hiawassee Georgia. Our favorite rental so far there. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Beautiful furniture and decor. The furniture was comfortable. Gorgeous views from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom. The home is in a great location close to restaurants like Marina Station, Wild Hawg and Brothers. Dancing Bream was such a great stay in Hiawassee! Our one night while passing through the North GA Mountains made us want to book another trip very soon! Not ideal for 3 couples as all of the bedrooms “connect”. But for a single family or two couple and kids it’s a great spot. My daughter loved the beautiful dock and deck space! The hosts were excellent and very helpful! We will definitely plan to be back and take full advantage of all of the Lake has to offer!

We love the North Georgia Mountains and have been visiting Hiawassee for over 20 years. I have lived in Georgia all my life and have traveled around and have never seen anything as beautiful as the small town of Hiawassee and beautiful Lake Chatuge. We have other rental properties in Hiawassee and we plan on retiring here.

Why they chose this property

We feel very fortunate to have found this property. This lot and home was owned by the original owner since it was built over 40 years ago. I can see why they never moved and enjoyed life on this part of the lake. The home is on a point and fish like to spawn in the area which makes it a great location for fishing. Dancing Bream is located at a very quiet location on deep water so all year long fishing or boating is available. The home is now renovated, new covered dock slip with viewing deck added in December 2020 and looking for future travelers to experience the beauty of Lake Chatuge and the surrounding mountains.

What makes this property unique

Dancing Bream is a beautiful ranch home with a water and mountain view along the entire back side of the home. Only a few yards to the dock that has deep water all year long. There is a camera over the boat and front driveway for safety. This property is on a point near a cove with over 150 feet of water frontage. Under beautiful oak, hickory and cedar trees gives a nice privacy and quite get away yet close to all Hiawassee has to offer. Sit back from inside or the large deck and watch the ducks and fish jump from around the dock, go fishing or just take a couple chairs down to the dock and enjoy more mountain and lake views.
