We had a great stay at the house. The host was more than accommodating…there were power outages in the area one evening and she stayed right on top of it, checking on us and making sure all ok. It was a very convenient location for our needs, and would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was good as it was close to family in town as well as stores and restaurants. Shari was so kind and friendly to us during our stay. We will stay again if we come to town ! The place is clean and neat and decor was warm and comforting.

Very nice place, and quite accommodating. We took way too much with us expecting to need things and ended up not needing anything, everything was there already. The owners were great, we locked ourselves out on the first day and they had someone there right away to help us get back in. Awesome choice over a hotel. We definitely recommend.

We just loved it1 The property is so well appointed. It's decorated and updated but keeps some original charm. The owner provides plenty of consumables and linens/towels which is such a treat. It was clean and efficient. We did not cook much, we ordered out. It was the perfect place and location to gather with local friends and family. The owner was highly responsive and a generous host!! We have found our place in Altoona!

We had a wonderful experience at this Altoona property on our annual sibling trip. From the moment we booked, communication was seamless (thank you, Shari!)—clear instructions, quick responses, and an overall friendly approach that made everything effortless.We were delighted by the cleanliness of the home and found it to be well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the living room furniture, coupled with the open concept (living room, kitchen, dining area), gave it a very “social” feel.The property was exactly as described and it was convenient to everything we wanted to do in Altoona and Johnstown. The house sits back from a busy street so the traffic did not disturb our sleep, but if we were light sleepers, it may have been a factor. We would definitely book this property again.
