Launching your boat is a quick 2-mile drive south to Aitch Boat Launch and Fishing Pier. Seven Points Marina is 5 miles north and offers a boat launch, a full service marina, a large beach, concession stand and beautiful lakeside picnic tables and pavilions. Boat, Jet Ski and other rentals are available at Seven Points Marina and Lake Raystown Resort.
The Marina is within the Seven Points Recreation Area, the main entrance of the Raystown Lake Visitor Center and access to the Allegrippis Trail System for hiking and mountain biking. The new 9 and 18 basket Discgolf courses are open. Daily activities are planned during the summer season and throughout the year. Get all the details for upcoming events at Raystown.org.
Outside, enjoy grilling and the breathtaking view from the deck while your pup runs around the fenced-in yard. During the cool evenings, make some s’mores and relax by the fire pit. Fire wood is provided. Wish you could rent at lakeside? Sunny Acres is a short 1/4 mile stroll to secluded Brumbaugh Cove on Raystown Lake! Bring your tubes, floats, kayaks, canoes, and fishing poles down to cove side and relax. Relish rural, starlit skies and breathe in the cool night air on the deck while watching the moon rise over the ridge.
Shopping is very convenient from Sunny Acres! There are several small grocery marts on the way to Seven Points. Take a 20 minute drive north on Rte 26 to the Walmart Super Center, the Giant Grocery Store on Rte 22 and quaint downtown Huntingdon.
Other area attractions include the Lincoln Caverns and Whisper Rocks, Penns Cave, the East Broad Top Railroad, Trough Creek State Park and more.
