It's also a 10-minute drive (or free shuttle) to 300+ trails of world class skiing at Big Sky Resort, and the phenomenal Nordic trails at Lone Mountain Ranch. With numerous hiking trailheads nearby, the Gallatin River Valley fishing scene, and Yellowstone and Bozeman within 45-minutes, the location can't be beat. This end-unit condo backs up to undeveloped, open space and mountain views, and boasts three large bedrooms, a wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, two 50" flat-screen Smart TVs, and is steps away from the free shuttle route. There is a large open concept living area with a fully stocked kitchen, dining and breakfast area that seats 12, and a cozy living room that invites you to unwind.

Big Sky Resort is "America’s Biggest Skiing," offering winter enthusiasts 5,800 acres, a 4,350 foot vertical drop, and average annual snowfall of 400 inches. Lone Peak, at 11,166 feet, offers challenging runs, iconic chutes, and magic carpets at the base offer kid-friendly beginner runs.

In the summer you can enjoy fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting or just relax in the hot tub, no one's judging. Or, you can head out to Yellowstone National Park, just a short drive away, and check out bison, bears, and geysers. The summer also brings free concerts, a weekly farmer's market, and other special events.

Wonderful stay, excellent hosts, fantastic views, all necessities were available. This rental made our stay simple, beautiful, relaxing, and memorable. The view of the mountains from the windows and back patio were jaw-dropping! We even saw a moose mama and two babies wandering the neighborhood and our yard!

Cleanliness, security and communication

The place inside the living area was clean, adequate and charming. However, the garage was filled with dry mud, the front grass area was littered with trash, the back patio was unswept with burnt pieces of wood left. In addition the rear sliding glass door lock was broken and the security was provided by laying a wooden dowel in the track to prevent door opening fully although it could be opened approximately 8 inches. A wooden dowel should not be used for primary lock but as a secondary backup. Fix the lock in order to provide a safe and secure environment for your quest. When notifying owners of problems, still no response. In future visits, this is not a place I will stay.

We had a great stay! The condo has everything we needed to relax after a day of skiing! There is open space in the back and great views from the hot tub and the kitchen was stocked well so that we could easily make dinner for everyone. We loved it!

All around great experience.

First off, the property owner was quick to respond and very helpful when we had a concern about a last min. cancelled flight. The property was perfect for a group or 5 with more than enough space. Very clean and comfortable. The location is only about 15-20 mins to big sky resort for skiing (when roads were covered in snow). Also close to several shops and restaurants. The heated garage was a bonus when dealing with overnight snow. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about visiting the area.

Absolutely Perfect for Our Family Getaway!

This condo was everything we could have hoped for and more! From the moment we stepped in, we felt right at home. The layout was ideal, especially for our teenagers who absolutely adored the loft area. It gave them their own space to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to Ousel Falls, a stunning natural wonder that we hiked to and were left in awe of its beauty. The views surrounding the condo were simply breathtaking, adding an extra layer of tranquility to our vacation. Additionally, being just a short drive away from Big Sky Resort was a huge bonus for us as skiing enthusiasts. We could easily access the slopes and enjoy the thrill of the mountain while knowing we had a cozy retreat to return to at the end of the day. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better accommodation for our family getaway. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful experience!

Better than described!

The Hosts are true to their word in describing this place. It is well equipped for a couple getaway or family vacation. It's stocked with towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc. Snow skiers will love the oversized garage leading into a ski room for your gear. The interior is cozy and warm with a an actual wood burning fireplace and hot tub overlooking the mountains. Town Center is close and offers restaurants, ski equipment, clothing and grocery stores. It will be hard to find a place as good as this. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great time at this beautifully decorated and comfortable mountain home. The location is great with amazing views of the mountains. The hut tub is the icing on the top. Highly recommend!

Awesome Hosts and place for a Ski Vacation

Our stay was incredible. Michaela and Pat were great at communicating with us and were amazing hosts. Location was close to town and an easy trip up to the mountain. Michaela and Pat live in Bozeman, MT and enjoy running marathons, skiing, hiking, traveling, and just generally exploring outside. Many of their vacations have taken them to mountain tops all over the world and they're excited to finally have a mountain home of their own in Montana.

Why they chose this property

Michaela first came to Big Sky 6 years ago to ski with friends, and from the moment she was scooped up by the ski lift and spectacular views unfolded around her, she was overwhelmed by the magic of this place. Michaela has been coming here every winter since, and the second she turns onto Lone Mountain Road, all of her stress melts away. Her heart is full when she's here, and after introducing Big Sky to Pat, turns out he's in love with this place too.

We're thrilled to have this beautiful home in the mountains with endless nights by the fire after a long day of skiing Dakota (Michaela's favorite lift), looking at the stars from the hot tub, and hiking right out the back door.

We want this place to be enjoyed by people from all over, and we're excited to welcome you too!

What makes this property unique

We love this home due to it's excellent location close to everything Big Sky has to offer while also being a short drive to Yellowstone and Bozeman. The home also back into open space and we loved being able to sit on the patio or in the hot tub and relaxing enjoying the views..
