This unit was amazing and very thoughtfully stocked for guest use. The only thing I would caution about is the noise from upstairs as it is a basement suite. It don’t bother us but some may not appreciate it. The area itself was beautifully quiet and the crickets sang us to sleep at night! We would definitely stay again!
I loved that this property was fully equipped and we didn't have to go out for meals. Nice a quiet with a separate bedroom where we could kick back and relax. It was within walking distance to town where you can find shops if you wanted. We used the property as a base to visit many of the local attractions.
Nice, quiet location on the bank above Cowichan Bay. Easy walk down to the village (although down a hill, if that is an issue)Well provisioned kitchen. Communication with host was easy, prompt and kind.

Our hosts were lovely and everything was accurate in the listing. What I didn’t expect was how loud it was. We could hear everything upstairs the entire time, from the music to the talk radio to the banging of something on a daily basis while we were there. I took to wearing noise cancelling headphones while we were in the apartment. To be fair, I don’t think our hosts were particularly loud, which is why we didn’t say anything, but the reviews had consistently said it was quiet so we were pretty surprised that it was loud enough to feel invasive and like we couldn’t fully relax. The washer was also quite loud and the toilet a bit unsteady. But it was certainly convenient and, as I said, our hosts were lovely.
