Couldn’t get into the locked property because the battery was dead on the door and the latch was broken. Ice maker didn’t work, light bulbs burned out in house, refrigerator light out, lights on deck broken and hanging, pillows so flat they were unusable, bedroom tv didn’t work, grill missing, one knife in the knife holder, dishwasher dry cycle doesn’t work, toilets ran constantly, bathroom faucet broken making hot water difficult to find, shower light burnt out, etc etc

At Dream Vacation Rentals, we strive for a "no-surprises" experience, and it is clear that on this occasion, we fell significantly short of the high standards we set for our properties and our guests. There is no excuse for a guest to arrive and face difficulty simply entering the home, let alone discovering the maintenance and amenity issues you described. Please know that I have shared your feedback directly with our maintenance and housekeeping leadership teams. We are conducting a full "top-to-bottom" inspection of this unit immediately to replace the pillows, restock the kitchen essentials, and repair every mechanical and lighting issue you noted—from the refrigerator and ice maker to the deck lighting and plumbing. We clearly missed the mark here, and I would like to make this right. I will be reaching out to you personally through the VRBO platform to discuss a partial refund for the inconvenience and to ensure we address any other concerns you may have. We value your feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope to have the chance to provide you with the seamless, high-quality stay you deserved in the future.
