The open-concept living area features hardwood floors and opens up onto a private covered deck where you can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic while enjoying your morning cup of coffee. When you're not dining out, prepare meals at home in the well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. At the end of the night, retreat to the spacious suite with king bed and private bath.

Colony By The Sea is an oceanfront resort community in Duck that provides guests with on-site amenities that the entire family will enjoy. Getting to the beach will be a breeze using the community's direct access with gazebo and walkway. Decent Stay

Great ocean views and easy walk to the beach. Bedroom and bathrooms could use some updating but was fine for a short stay. Quiet development with friendly people.

Very nice property to stay at! All the rooms feel very clean and are tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are a bit dated but who goes on vacation to hang out in the bathroom? The balcony is perfect for sitting and watching the water and hanging out with the curious crows. This is on the 3rd floor, so if you hate stairs, you're going to have a bad time. But if you're up on your cardio it's just a quick little hop. The kitchen utensils are a little sparse but this place is really just for couples since it only has that big, comfy king size bed. We made one meal there, the rest of the times we ate out. You can easily walk to most of the restaurants in Duck but if you drive be sure to watch out for the deer and bunnies along Sea Colony Drive. Also theres a few resident kitties at the condo itself to keep the mice in check so watch out for them. My girlfriend is always sure to bring a bag of kitty treats to share with them. All in all this is a lovely place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again in the future.

No couch! Just a horrible futon in bad condition. Skillets in need of replacent. Left message for management when we arrived and never heard back. Decent towels, nice deck and view. Duck is lovely…
