Farmhouse on Ometepe Island, one month minimum rental.
The farmhouse is a 5 minute walk to the lake. You’ll love it because of the views, the people, and the setting. The 20 acre property goes right up to the water! It is good for couples, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
The house itself is about 22 years old but is well maintained and if there is ever a problem just let us know and we'll have the property caretaker fix it.
If you're used to urban living than this place may seem a little rustic, it is not a 5 star hotel after all. We're in a peaceful rural area surrounded by nature. The farm is on the edge of a small village called Los Angeles which is about an 8 minute drive from Moyogalpa. If you're looking to get away from it all and love the idea of staying on a farm on Ometepe than this is a great place to live that dream!
Depending on the time of year you may harvest whatever fruits are available. We have mango trees, star fruit, limes, avacado and plantains. As you are in beautiful Ometepe, you will spend much of your time outside, we hope you enjoy all that the farm and the island has to offer!
