About this property

Woodland Muskoka Tiny House

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique tiny house. This 600 sq ft home is nestled amongst 10 acres of towering trees, granite rock and trails to explore. The tiny home will not feel so tiny once inside. With high ceilings, plenty of windows, and surprisingly spacious rooms - it is the perfect hideaway for those wanting to unplug in Muskoka.

Cook to your heart's delight in the fully equipped kitchen or the BBQ outside. If cooking is not your thing, fear not! - the tiny house is conveniently located for a quick drive to Gravenhurst or Bracebridge for a meal out. Drive a little further to the beautiful little town of Bala, where you will find music, culinary delights and shopping.

The dark night sky provides the best star-gazing as well, and the three season, screened in porch invites you to enjoy your coffee (or wine!) in nature without being bothered by the mosquitos!

You will find a peaceful sleep in the one king bed in the loft bedroom, a single pullout (for little guests), and a double pullout in the living room. There is a 2 piece bath, and a separate shower room off the kitchen. Don't miss out on your chance to experience luxury in nature!

About the host

Hosted by Katie

Host profile image
I grew up north of Toronto, and spent my childhood at cottages in Muskoka, Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. There is nothing like living amongst the trees, lakes & granite ridges of Muskoka. My passion lies in nature, learning about the plants surrounding me, herbalism and cooking. I worked in a few different fields including accounting and the travel industry, but my true calling was found here in the woods, managing our small business and hosting visitor to the area.

Why they chose this property

I love that we are secluded in a forest, on a quiet road, but can drive less than 10 minutes and have the hustle of small town life within minutes! No need to go out though... spend your day reading in the Muskoka room or hiking our trail up to the old yurt platform on the top of the ridge.

What makes this property unique

While it is a tiny house, it feels spacious and warm. Uncluttered, yet all you need is right there.
