This accom was excellent. It was cute and classy, it had the right spaces, and was comfortable. It was great to get food delivered and felt secure (even though the front light over the door didn't work). I had one evening with an online meeting and there were no issues with connectivity (through my own devices). It was easy to heat (I stayed in winter), and it was charming even in the rain. The lighting was adjustable, so you could see and unpack but also dim for mood in the evenings. I couldn't get the fairy lights in the garden to work, but I did get the water feature going! There was no noise from neighbours. I am so hoping to stay again soon - it was a total delight. My only issue - please don't use guess-able codes for the electronic door lock - anything related to the guest is not secure.
This is a cute property in a fantastic location. There were 3 adults staying here so we were after a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property and this was a good size for the 3 of us with the combined living/dining area, large open plan kitchen / laundry, and with 2 absolutely beautiful courtyards. King size beds were very comfy. Just something to note which wasn't stated in the listing, the 3rd bedroom is a separate building (converted garage?) which is not self contained and it is not connected to the main house. So whoever is in that room needs to be comfortable with leaving the building, taking a few steps across the courtyard to the main house to use the toilet, brush your teeth, shower, grab a glass of water etc. Might suit a teenager looking for a bit of privacy but not so practical for older folk. There is a separate lock box for that building and we needed to ask for the code, it wasn't automatically provided (and in fact we were a bit baffled as to where the 3rd bedroom was to be honest!). It would also be nice to provide some milk for guests (even a bit of UHT), the amenities otherwise were very nice but on a Sunday morning in Geelong with no car there wasn't anywhere nearby to get some milk for coffee. The hairdryer in the main bathroom was a nice touch and much appreciated. We would stay there again as we loved the location, it's so convenient and about 1.7km easy stroll to the waterfront. The pub just on the corner is a little treasure.
