The place was very clean and as described. We loved the view of the river. The host supplied everything we needed and more. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a great view, this is the place. Lots of outdoor hiking and other activities in the area. I would suggest a vehicle with a little clearance. I had a jeep, which was perfect for the dirt road and all the bumps! I would stay again!

Thank you for your kind review! We appreciate you & hope you will be back! :)
Beautiful cabin, clean and mostly updated (very nice kitchen appliances; kitchen sink and bathroom sinks could use a little love). Unfortunately we were there during the heat wave so we didn't get to spend much time enjoying the property, but the A/C worked GREAT and we were so thankful for that. We did enjoy coffee on the porch swing in the morning; it was nice to have overhead fans. The river is pretty but just so you are aware, there is no way to easily enter the water from this property, and swimming is not an option. It is also quite remote and takes forever to get anywhere (at least to us...yes we are city people!) because of the mountainous roads. We love to find little ice cream shops on vacation and there was nowhere nearby to do that. But as long as you know what to expect, it was great. Very quiet. Great for listening for birds. We did see some neighbors later in the week, but mostly we felt like we had the area to ourselves. There was one problem with the property near the end of our visit and owners were very responsive.

Memories made to last a liftime
This place met my expectations, and everything was as advertised. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for that true “Ozark vibe” getaway.**Things to note:****The Drive**The drive up to the cabin is a bit winding, and we did encounter a few deer along the way. Some areas of the road do not have guardrails, so keep that in mind.Once you enter the neighborhood, the road turns into a dirt path, but that portion is fairly short. We had a 4x4 pickup truck, and since the roads were dry, we had no issues. For reference, a fully loaded minivan may bottom out or rub in a few areas, but if the roads are dry, you should be fine.I recommend having good brakes and tires, arriving before sunset, and having someone drive who is comfortable with winding mountain roads.**The River**Yes, you can enjoy a beautiful river view from the screened-in deck, and it was honestly one of the best things about this cabin. You can walk right up to the riverbank, but you’ll need to walk toward the adjacent property line because there is quite a bit of foliage directly behind the cabin. There isn’t an easy way to enter the river from the property because the riverbank is approximately 8–10 feet high.**Overall**The cabin was exactly what I envisioned for our trip. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked with cookware and cutlery. The appliances were excellent, the showers were clean, the A/C kept us cool, and the fiber internet kept the kids happy. The screened-in deck was perfect for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. The grill was ready to use and even had an extra propane tank available. This cabin truly has it all! Just set your expectations accordingly because you are right at the doorstep of the Ozark forest—and that’s part of what makes the experience so special.
