Maison La Lanterne - a hidden gem in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté

Discover Maison La Lanterne, Eliza and Michael's holiday house in the heart of Bassigney, a small peaceful village.
A holiday cottage for those who love nature, serenity and calm in the countryside with a view on the river La Lanterne. A peaceful stay is guaranteed in this charming house with your loved ones.
The house is decorated with care and love to make you feel home and to be the perfect getaway from the city and running world.
Ideal for cyclists or for activities like hiking, canoe-kayak, fishing or swimming in the river where you can walk down directly from the garden.

THE HOUSE
The house is spacious and has a breathtaking view from the garden.
The 3 rooms (about 20m2 each) are on the first floor. Two of them looks on the garden and river and one of them to the village, and can sleep 8 persons. We can provide one baby bed and a high chair.

The house has two bathrooms ( shower on the ground floor, shower and bathtub on the 1st floor). There is only one toilet in the house, on the first floor.

The house is fully equipped, you will find everything that you might need during your stay to feel home.

PETS
-If you wish to bring your pet, please discuss it with us first. The house is not suitable for all kinds of animals, for example very active dogs. We live next door, so an intensively barking dog is unfortunately not a good fit.
-The pet is NOT allowed into the bedrooms. If your pet is used to sleeping with you, then our house is not for you. If we remark that the pet went into the bedrooms (because of hairs or paw traces) we might charge you an extra cleaning fee.
-The pet owner is responsible to clean up all the traces of the animal (hairs, etc) in the end of the stay.

NUMBER OF GUESTS
-The maximum capacity of the house is 8 (kids of 2+ years included), we cannot accept more people than that, please keep this in mind in last minute changes.
-In the case of turning up with an unregistered pet or more guest than registered in the reservation, we have the right to refuse the entering in the house or to charge you a supplementary fee.

HOUSE EQUIPMENT
-Bedsheets and towels are provided free of charge. Please do not use the bath towels for outside, bring your own beach towels if needed.
-The house is NOT equipped with a TV, but we have a lot of books and games :)

HEATING
-The house is heated principally with 2 fireplaces, you will have to keep the fire on to keep the warmth in the house. The wood is included in the price.
The maximum temperature in the rooms is around 20 degrees in winter.

CLEANING
-We appreciate if you collect your rubbish in the bins, put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and make sure that the fridge and over are empty in the end of your stay.

-We live next door, so when we are there, we are available if you need any help.
