Water’s Edge Retreat Enjoy your own private waterfront home!

Come relax and unwind in this charming family cottage by beautiful Lake Erie. This warm home features amenities to meet every guest’s needs. We are only 3kms from Erie Beach in Erieau!

Guests can also enjoy a private oasis which features a boardwalk in our backyard which leads to an oversized dock overlooking Lake Erie with beach access depending on water levels. The dock is 100 feet wide with 2,000 square feet of room to lounge around in the sun. The two jetties on either side of our dock allow you to enjoy your own private beach!

This home is only steps away from a scenic conservation area and the charming town of Erieau. A great corporate retreat for your employees as well

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure solarium is locked. Side doors and the main sliding door of the solarium in back of the house
No smoking in the house Septic System has small holding capacity. Be cognizant of this when using toilets and water in general. Try not to run dishwasher every day (maybe every other day)
DO NOT park on empty property next door as it’s not our property. We have room for 3 cars on our driveway.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This is a beautiful designed cottage. The inside was very well equipped with everything you would need. The colour theme and decor was gorgeous. The outside decking was very useful and appealing. Swimming at the cottage is suitable for swimmers but does not have a shallow sandy beach ( not available on Erie Beach shore line). The outside exterior gives you a poor impression of what to expect.

This property is fantastic. Full equipped and very spacious. There are bikes to use and the trail into Erieau is just down the road.We will stay here again.

Family Getaway

My family and I stayed at this cottage for a weekend and could not have had a better time! It fit everyone, including a couple extra guests who we got permission to have pop in! The cottage is spacious and clean, there were adequate sleeping arrangements and all of the beds received no complaints on comfort (the pull out trundle bed options in the rooms were a great touch that really allowed us to maximize space during the day but house everyone we needed to at night). The near by nature trail was a great family walk and everyone loved spending time at the beach! The weather and view could not be matched-especially at sunset/sunrise, during a small storm we stayed dry in the solarium enjoying the sounds of the rain on the roof and the view of the storm over the water which is a true storm lovers haven! I cannot wait to stay again in warmer weather when the cottage’s private beach will come into more use!

We had an amazing stay at Waters Edge Retreat and would highly recommend it. There was plenty of room for our family of five, giving our three kids lots of space to spread out and enjoy themselves.The location is fantastic—right on the lake with a private beach, excellent swimming, and a refreshing breeze off the water. The large deck overlooking the lake quickly became our favorite spot to relax, with plenty of comfortable chairs and an incredible view of the Canada Day fireworks in Erieau.The cottage is also perfectly situated just a short ride from Erieau. We loved using the bikes provided to ride into town for ice cream, dining, and fishing. Being so close to the bike path made getting around easy and enjoyable.When we weren't at the beach or exploring Erieau, the kids had a blast playing darts and table tennis in the garage. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and had the warm, cozy cottage atmosphere we were hoping for.The hosts were outstanding throughout our stay. They were easy to reach, quick to respond, and genuinely helpful whenever we had a question.Overall, Waters Edge Retreat exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to relax, spend quality time together as a family, and make some great summer memories. We would definitely stay here again.
