Great little rental in Miraflores

This is a very nice rental in a great area. I knew just a little about Lima when I booked this reservation, but I made the right choice sellectiong this apartment. It is a easy 10 min walk to Love Park, Kennedy Park, and the Larcomar Mall. Lots of great restaurants are within easy walking distance and the area feels very safe. The owner is very responsive and was very helpful on my trip, and even arranged transportation to and from the airport. The apartment was clean upon my arrival and everything worked as expected. I highly recommend this apartment over a hotel and it represents a great value. BTW - the Potero (security and front desk attendants) were very nice and helpful as well....

Nice location a few blocks away from Kennedy park

Very central, in Miraflores. Won’t be difficult to find taxis or ubers. The place does not include parking but there’s safe street parking for a very very low fee right in front of the building. Everything was great including price per night but the cleaning fee is higher than average so take that into consideration if budgeting. Besides that, everything was great definitely recommend while the apt. does not overprice.

Concerning pricing and for your tranquility and information: as opposed to other accomodations we have strictly removed all service costs from the overnight price and list them separately as a one time / fix charge. This causes our night prices to be slightly lower and the service fee (I repeat, a one time charge) slightly higher than other accomodations. Guests with longer stays immediately notice this positive effect. In your case, you stayed just 2 nights and didn't have this advantage. As final note, we believe and attempt to practice Fair Employment. The complete service fee is passed to the workers doing the corresponding job (cleaning, laundry, keyholder, portier).

Will definitely come back!

I had a great time at this property and will definitely come back! The apartment is in perfect condition and the view outside the window over looking pacific ocean is the cherry on top. Everything was cleaned, fully furnished, functional and organized. Mr. Larosa, the host, was very helpful in all aspects of my stay making it a great experience.

Perfect place for our 2 weeks trip to Lima

Very hospital upon arrival, ideal for 2 people. Extremely clean and tidy flat in a great location. The host was very helpful in the lead up to our trip and was very helpful throughout. 24h receptionist was a big plus. Thanks Jose, a great place to stay that I would recommend to all.

Great hosting, cozy and sparkling clean apartment

A good self contained , very safe and comfortable apartment. Convenient for the great assortment of shops, cafes, restaurants and attractions in Miraflores. The lovely Kennedy park and the seafront are very close for pleasant walk. The concierge was brilliant so helpful and friendly, open all night. Highly recommended.

Excellent location when visiting Lima, in the heart of Miraflores, just few blocks away from the Costa Verde and Larcomar. Best area for shopping, bars, restaurants, everything. The frontdesk people were very helpful and Jose always reachable. Strongly recommended.

Wir haben uns im Jose's Apartment wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft als auch den Gastgeber weiter empfehlen. Das Bett war in Ordnung und die Wohnung schön geräumig und sauber. Die Einrichtung last keine Wünsche offen. Der Standort der Wohnung ist super, leider hat man uns nicht gesagt, dass es nebenan z.Zeit eine große Baustelle gibt, sodass man zwischen 8 und 17 Uhr mit Baulärm rechnen muss (Punktabzug). Jose war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar. Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder.

Wonderful

Not only was Jose wonderful before and during our entire stay, the apartment itself couldn’t have been better. It’s very conveniently located (near the excellent Wong supermarket) on Malecon Balta. You can walk almost anywhere in Miraflores from it. I’m happy to say that I finally met someone who is as OCD as I am about cleanliness and organization. The kitchen was very well stocked and the place was immaculate. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Lima

Very nice apt just as described and shown in photos. Modern and well equipped and everything works well. Jose is a great host and super at communicating. The building is very nice and secure with a good staff at the reception desk. Central location, within walking distance of everything you need including a top supermarket, pharmacies, Starbucks, movie theater, restaurants, department stores, excellent medical clinic, parks, exercise areas including jogging/cycling paths, ocean etc. And the small swimming pool downstairs is very refreshing on a hot summer day! Would definitely recommend the apt for a short or long stay.

Lovely comfortable convenient apartment

The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc. The apartment handbook provided after booking is very comprehensive and covers everything you need to know. The property was clean and well-maintained, as were the common areas and pool. The owner Jose provided good customer service both before and after arrival. We did need to contact him a couple of times about wi-fi and hot-water issues but these questions were speedily answered. We were off by the sea every morning, the beach being a 10 minute walk away. There is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. We shopped at Wong which is a 5 minute walk away. Minor issues? Lima is a noisy city. Still we were able to sleep with open windows. Also we found the wifi would regularly drop out for a few minutes, but the connection would always come back on. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks Jose for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. I would very much recommend this property if you are looking for a central apartment in Lima/Miraflores. (This review is based on a 2 week stay in January 2017 by an English couple in their 60's).
