The property was gorgeous and our host was beyond friendly! It’s a bit of a trek to the water but totally worth it for the gorgeous view and water!! I would definitely recommend going off the grid and stopping at this wonderful tiny house or any of the campsites available on the property!!

Hey Ashley thanks for the review it helps future guests find their perfect fit for the best experiences. It is all about getting into the outdoors here and the stroll to the lake is definitely part of it. As you say totally worth it but it's great when guests know what to expect:) John and Michelle

Adorable place to spend the weekend. Few minutes walking to see the lake. The mountain views and the silence where the best pair for breakfast. 45 - 60 min to hot springs. Bad data service (not a bad thing) but they have some wifi that you can use ( you need to be closer to their place to get some signal).Highly recommended and we will comeback in the future. Staying at the Arrow Park Tiny Home was truly unique experience that I am so grateful to have had. The property is absolutely stunning and the views of the mountains are incredible. The sights and sounds of nature were remarkable and one of my personal favourite parts of the trip. On top of all that, the hosts were friendly, accommodating and it is very clear that they have gone above and beyond to create a truly wonderful getaway for guests. Whether you are looking for outdoor adventure, a family friendly vacation or somewhere to truly decompress I would highly recommend staying with Kootenay Born.

Beautiful getaway

Hosts were very accommodating and worked professionally to adjust a scheduling mix up. We loved our stay and access to the kayaks. Spent most of a day paddling around the area and enjoying the sunshine. Heads up this is a remote area and wifi and cell coverage is limited but we enjoyed being unplugged and spent time appreciating the beauty of the area.

Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay! The kids had so much fun, especially with all the kayaks and canoes available to use. They absolutely loved the bubble tent set up for stargazing—it was such a unique experience! Michelle and John even set up an extra tent for my teenager, which was so thoughtful. The tiny home was super cute and had everything we needed. Hot showers and clean outhouses were a big plus. The peaceful setting with a beautiful mountain view made it even more relaxing. Michelle and John were incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering great local recommendations. Highly recommend this place!

This place was absolutely beautiful & the amenities were the hosts ptivuded were plenty. Upon our arrival, we must admit that we were a little disappointed. The tiny cabin was perfect, however, the description & photos made it appear to be entirely secluded, but it is not by any means. It is on a farm & that is also campsite, so there are other sites for tents, campers & another smaller cabin, as well as an RV. The outhouse & outdoor sink, is a communal one for the entire site & it sits in the middle, but the hosts put up a tent on ths side if our cabin, so we had a little more privacy. We must say that the outhouses, were the cleanest we had ever seen & as this place is quite new, the hosts have planted many more trees around each of the open sites & in time, it will be absolutely perfect. The hosts privided bikes & kyaks to venture thevtraiks diwn to a beautiful, secluded sandy beach & we also had the option to purchace fresh eggs right from their very own flock if chickens. There are so many things to do around the area, including several choices of hot springs. We would definitely go again. Thank you J&M!

The Good: - The tiny house was very clean!!! - The hosts were great! They had the lights and heater on when we arrived, and they gave us a lovely little tour to get us settled. - The ferry ride was fun. - There was a window A/C unit and portable heaters to ensure we were comfortable. - The towels were so soft! - The main bed was comfy. Not sure about the other bed as the kids slept there. The Surprising: - There’s basically NO CELL SERVICE and no wifi. This was a problem for our group as we didn’t come prepared with any card games, etc. (It might be nice to have some provided). - The shower is in a little tent outside. I’m not sure where you’d set your clothes or towel while showering as there’s no private space to dress. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working when we were there, but the hosts allowed us to use another shower in another tiny house, but there were zero window coverings in the bathroom and the water went cold after only a few minutes. - The “1.5 baths” is actually 2 outhouses/pit toilets that you share with other groups. - Many of the window coverings were sheer (see through) and one window had no covering. The morning sun effectively woke us all up bright and early. The sheer curtains also made us uncomfortable when changing (especially when it was dark outside). - You can’t see the lake from the tiny house, but the view is still beautiful. Would we stay there again? Yes, but it wouldn’t be our first choice b/c the price seemed a bit high for the value.
