Great stay, beautiful view, mattress at end of hall very firm. Needs safety bars in showers.and toilets should be ADA, furniture a little hard to get out of for us bigger fella's,other than that, no complaints. Met the owner, and he was super nice guy. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly !

Nice location on the lake for sunsets. The property owner was very responsive to any questions. Nice location for peace and quiet with a great view of the lake.

Nice house and location on the lake. Has a spacious deck overlooking the lake. Owner was friendly and allowed us flexibility regarding parking of our boat trailer. Met our needs for a family vacation.

We were looking for a place on the water at a reasonable price for our extended family. We were pleased with the size of the home, actually was a bit bigger than we were expecting from the pictures. The access to the water from the house is a bit tricky due to the property being at the end of the lake, but we were able to get a kayak into the water without any issues. There is a public access ramp within a mile or so which would probably be best if trying to get a boat on the water. Also it’s only about 10 minutes or so to the N Webster city park which rents boats and pontoons for daily use with adequate parking. Our family enjoyed going to the City Park and boarding the Dixie Steamboat for a 75 minute cruise. All in all, a great time for the family with plenty of activities available during our stay. The house was clean and well lit. We were pleased with the kitchen size and seating for meals. Plenty of dishes and cookware and even grilling utensils for the gas grill. The house more than met our expectations. We had a total of seven people and had plenty of space. Thanks for a great place to enjoy a family getaway with our children and Grandchildren.

Only just okay

Our family was there for a weekend and there were some things that I feel should be noted. The view was great but the location is not very desirable if you have a boat. The channel in front of the house is quite shallow and full of algae, which makes parking a boat on the lake difficult. The property owner lives in the house behind and “lurked” for lack of a better description which felt weird and out of place. The water in the house is bad. So much so that there are rust stains in sinks and showers and there is a strong rust/iron smell. The water pressure is also not great, washing long hair is time consuming due to the lack of pressure. I was given one contact number through VRBO but I was contacted by a different number regarding check in process. Would be great if VRBO information was correct. The sheets were clean but the house didn’t feel clean. Floors needed swept, kitchen sink was dirty, there was 1 dishwasher pod, barely hand soap, 1 extra trash bag so bring extras if you stay here. Overall, disappointed in the rental and wouldn’t recommend.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your review, and they wanted to share the following:- We wanted to clarify that we do not live in the neighboring home; our family was visiting that weekend for their annual tradition of gathering to watch the lake fireworks and staying at their property next door.- We were in the middle of transitioning cleaning teams during your visit, which likely caused the shortages of supplies and subpar cleaning. These issues have since been addressed to prevent future guests from experiencing the same.- We appreciate your comments about the water quality and pressure, and are exploring ways to improve these areas for a more comfortable stay.Thanks for your feedback.
