Welcome to The Owl's Nest at Westwood Lake! Whether you're here for an adventure or just passing through, we have everything you need for a seamless stay!

Nestled next to a quiet forest park/5 min walk to the lake, yet conveniently located minutes from everything Nanaimo has to offer!

New build, self contained, 1 bedroom garage apartment, bright, clean and completely separate from the primary residence.

Sleeps 2-3, full kitchen, full bathroom, laundry facilities, pull out queen sleeper sofa in the living room, Free wifi, tv and parking. Go for a swim and enjoy the park or visit the General Store, Jingle Pot Pub for some delicious Fish & Chips, Serious Coffee or have a game at Splitsville Bowling Alley!


Walk across the street and head to Westwood Lake which is known for its many Hiking/ Biking Trails including the 6.2 km trail around the Lake! Paddle-Board/Kayak Rentals also nearby. Visit Nanaimo's Historic Downtown Core, Hullo Ferry and Swylana Waterfront! Close to all major Bus Routes, VIU, Conference Centre, Live Theatre, Shopping centres. Spend the day in Victoria 80 min, Parksville 29 min, Mt Washington 90 mins, Tofino 140 mins:)

This is a great, clean property to stay at. The bedroom and pull out couch were very comfortable. You do have to climb a flight of stairs to the unit. Not a problem for us. Very quiet, beautiful location.

I absolutely loved it here! Although I was on the 2nd floor, it was super quiet - I never once heard anyone below me. I was there is December and the space was very cozy. They even set up a small Christmas tree for me. The kitchen is well-stocked and they added special touches here and there to make it feel homey. And the location - so good! In 2 minutes you're walking in a forest alongside a beautiful lake. It was a gorgeous hike. Thank you Jody! I hope to be back.David

This was a very well-equipped place- great kitchen, bedding and beds very comfortable. The little touches were well thought out. I appreciated the yoga mat and beach towels and the cute little owl decor! The hosts were excellent, communicated quickly, even providing me with a battery-operated light when the neighborhood power went out during a windstorm! Lovely, quiet location. Will definitely be back!
