Clean, comfortable, ideal for a couple. Quiet apartment but lots of cafés and restaurants very close. Rooftop terrace is a great space - lots of room with shade and sun, loungers and table and chairs. Clear instructions for check-in and for any problems or queries

No there was no host and no keys in the key box? Phoned host and he couldn't organise keys. Had to book into a hotel for the night! Got a message to say the keys would be there for us at 11 o'clock! Waited an hour and no one turned up? The cleaner let us in eventually? The apartment was dark and poky! Furniture poor quality! The roof terrace was a bonus with two sun loungers which were both broken! Great location but poor accommodation!

The question is whether I would recommend this apartment to a friend, and unfortunately, the answer is no.To start with the positives: we appreciated the apartment’s location and the rooftop, which were the main reasons we chose this place. Having an elevator in the building was also a big help, especially when moving around with a stroller.However, from the first day, too many things simply didn’t work. There was no heating in the apartment in late November, and we were provided only a thin summer duvet. When we asked for an extra blanket, we received just one small one (one person size) , which was far from sufficient, and the apartment remained uncomfortably cold. We had also requested a baby bed, but when we opened it, it was full of coarse sand both in the storage bag and inside the bed itself, indicating that it hadn’t been cleaned.If it had only been a few issues, we could have overlooked them, but the details kept adding up. The wall clock had a dead battery, the kitchen shelf door was damaged, and the basic supplies were extremely limited — for example, just one trash bag for a 10-day stay, diluted dish soap, and no clean sponge or washing essentials. Perhaps this type of accommodation operates under a different concept than what we are used to, but we have never experienced such limited provision of basic items. Overall, the apartment felt budget, poorly prepared, and below the standard one would reasonably expect.
