Very nice cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (family of 4). Can get warm upstairs on hot days, but the window a/cs were more than adequate. Kitchen had everything we needed. No laundry on-site, but there is a laundromat in Lyndonville (about 10 mi back down the road). The only shower is upstairs, so water pressure is a bit low, and the tap is partly-broken, so it can be tricky to dial in the temp. Great stargazing on clear nights. Also, despite feeling pretty remote, there are small towns all around and the interstate is close by. Despite it being a beautiful week (weatherwise) in the middle og August, the area was very quiet -- no crowds, and gorgeous scenery.

One issue was that the shower handle was broken which made it a little tricky to take a shower. When we arrived the owner called to tell us she was unable to get a plumber out to fix it.Be aware that the lights in one bedroom upstairs and the light above the table operate with a remote which is odd to me. We enjoyed the porch and deck.

We had a wonderful stay in this very clean, comfortable and peaceful cabin. The kitchen is well appointed with a nice variety of cookware and a good amount of utensils, cups, plates and bowl etc. The dinning table has room for 6. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. Each bedroom has a window air conditioning unit which did a nice job in keeping the rooms cool as well as some parts of the cabin during the couple of hot days we had. Prior to our trip, I reached out to the host with a few questions. In no time she returned my call and was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch in the morning, listening to the birds and enjoying the fresh air. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We plan to make this a yearly family trip to the Kingdom area and hope to be able to stay in this peaceful cabin again.
