Incredible house in a great town with great proximity to mountains

We recently stayed at the Eagles Roost for a ski vacation. We had two families with kids from 8-14. The house was absolutely perfect - everyone had a great sleeping option and we especially love that each level has its own bathroom. The sauce and hot tub were immaculate and very welcomed after a full day of skiing. We were able to easily get to Breck, Beaver Creek, Keystone and Vail (Keystone and Breck being SUPER close by without having to jump on i70). The hosts were very easy to communicate with and replied very quickly. Could not have picked a better spot for our first CO trip (but certainly not our last!).

Beautiful place

This place met all of our expectations. We were 6 adults and this worked for us well. Loved that it was close to shopping and restaurants! Beautiful amenities and beautiful lamdscaping.

Birthday Trip

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful mountain home with gorgeous views! This home was amazing! It was clean and had everything to make the stay perfect! It was in a great location to be close to many activities but while at the house you could relax quiet comfort! We will definitely rent from these kind hosts again!

Idyllic Cabin Getaway

Eagle’s roost was everything we were looking for and more when it comes to a ski trip getaway in Colorado. The location was perfect, 15 minutes from the slopes, 5 minutes from shopping and good food! The cabin was clean and exactly as pictured. The host was extremely communicative with any questions we had and was so helpful! We all fit comfortably and had the best time!

This house was stunning and the location was absolutely perfect. We felt like we were alone in the mountains but so close to anything and everything we wanted/needed. The hosts were polite and responsive. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful and great location!

Location was perfect for doing lots in the area…sleigh ride to a dinner/show, snowmobiling, tubing, downtown Breckenridge and Frisco. The house was beautiful and has lots of extras provided. Sauna and hot tub were enjoyed tremendously! Lots of snow….but not too much…could still get around. Lots of room and heated floors were a bonus! Stores and restaurants close by but still felt secluded! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Silverthorne Gem

This property is in a great location. Mountain view’s from two sides. 10-34 miles from Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Vail. Owners have fully equipped this home with many extras and it was well labeled as to where things are and how things are controlled. Three ways to make coffee…drip, French press, Keurig etc. Also, tools, spare bulbs, lots of glassware etc. A fully stocked pantry, condiments and spices etc. All the creature comforts of being at your own home were provided. Even down to slippers for the hot tup and sauna. Owners were communicative and professional and checked in regularly.

Christmas Vacation

Eagles Roost was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The cabin was amazing and the location was ideal. All of the amenities were as advertised. We spent a lot of time by the fire, playing pool, sledding behind the house (after a good snow) and cooking. The kitchen and pantry were stocked with everything we needed and we felt good about leaving whatever cooking supplies we had leftover for the next family to use.

Another great stay

This was our second time staying at Eagles Roost, and we will be back. Sabine and Fred were so welcoming and easy to communicate with prior to, during, and after our stay. Very clean, lots of kitchen supplies for various cooking needs, and the PitBoss Grill on the deck made it feel like home when we didn't go out. Neighbor Frank provided us with great ideas for hikes! Great location, easy to get all around Summit County. We will be back - next time for ski season.

Spectacular Log Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fred and Sabine were very responsive to our questions and the property was in immaculate condition ready for our arrival. I've stayed at many VRBO properties and this property was by far the best. Not only was it clean and well appointed, the furnishings are high end and the location ideal. The family room which encompasses the kitchen and dining room, has everything your group needs to gather after a day of skiing or exploring, including a large TV, great sound system with music on demand and a pool table.

Eagles Roost is amazing

A perfect mountain getaway. The location was perfect for summer activities all around Summit County. The house is amazing! Kitchen was better supplied than any rental we have ever used. Bedrooms are separated nicely to provide privacy when needed. Well maintained and inviting. The owners, Sabine and Fred, are beyond accommodating; I fell like I have new friends! The house provided the perfect summer escape during the current situation and was clean and safe. My family didn’t want to write a review so this place could be our secret 😁. We will be back for sure.

Almost better than home

The house is beautiful! Pictures just can’t do it justice. Snow capped mountain views, plenty of space for our 2 families (8 people total), super clean and so much to do on the property. Every little space in the house has personality and convenience. It has a cabin feel but with high-end luxury amenities. We spent days comparing houses around the area, looking at Breckenridge and further out. The location is perfect. Feels completely secluded (you see no neighbors) yet it’s a short drive (or walk) to stores, gas, food and I-70. Highly recommend this one-of-a-kind vrbo to anyone who doesn’t want to compromise anything on their list.

A Memorable Ski Vacation

The house was amazing! The architectural features, comfort and exterior views were all outstanding. The house had everything that we needed to cook everyday during our visit, so there was no need to go anywhere else. It was also great to have the hot tub and sauna on site after skiing at Copper and Breckenridge. My only critique is that the shower in the master suite was inoperable during our entire stay, reportedly due to a plumbing mishap. As a result, we had to share the first floor shower each day with other family members. We did not learn this until we checked in and found a note from the owners. They said that they were sorry but there was nothing that they could do. If I were the owner, I would have offered to comp the cleaning fee or provide some other credit for our stay. Nevertheless, we had a great visit.

Private cabin in Silverthorne

Stayed at this cabin with my two boys. Even though it is right in the middle of a neighborhood, the trees and elevation of the property put all of the neighboring properties out of your sight. Once you enter the cabin, you almost feel like you are staying out of town. The cabin is extremely well built, orderly and clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very nicely done. It was as comfortable as being at home. We really liked how the kitchen, couch area, pool table and dining room were close. We have stayed in other homes where the areas were too spread out, so it was nice to have everything close enough where we could always see each other and have conversations. The owner was very responsive, and always immediately replied to all of my texts. The neighbor (Frank) came over and introduced himself after our first day. At the time I was suffering from altitude sickness, and Frank was a great help. He provided some remedies, and gave me a nightly phone call to check on my health. Because I was traveling alone with my kids, my health became a bit of a concern. But thanks to Frank I was better in no time! He is a wonderful guy, and I look forward to seeing him again next year (YES, we will be going back).

Just wow

Really though. Our trip back to Switzerland was canceled due to travel restrictions earlier this year. We have been trying to sort out a getaway for months but nothing seemed to fit. Last week we were presented with an opportunity to sneak off last minute. Properties in the area seemed limited but this one stood out right away. Our dates were available so i messaged for confirmation (VRBO app seemed to be having some issues) the hosts messaged me right straight away and helped me get the app sorted out. We left the next morning and arrived that evening to this absolutely gorgeous home. Everything was in top order. Entry directions were simple, items were labeled, there wasn't a thing amiss. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding. Not an item left to want in the kitchen, fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware, spices, coffee, tea, etc.. The pool table, hot tub and sauna were such a treat to help relax after a long days hike. The Eagles nest is a very unique home with an amazing amount of charm. Whomever designed and decorated this home is truly an artist. The craftsmanship is second to none. We were a party of 4 but this home could comfortably hold plenty more. The layout perfect with multiple sitting areas to relax. It had great wifi and televisions anywhere a person would ever need one. The master suite was a vacation in itself. We set up our telescope on the master suite deck to get some great shots of the moon and stars that shine so bright in this alpine retreat. We want to thank our hosts for being so helpful and accommodating, and sharing this beautiful property with us. We hope to return!

The Best Cabin in Colorado!

The cabin is nestled into the side of a hill in a very quiet neighborhood. It's within walking distance of several local restaurants. The furnishings and artwork complement the rustic style. We enjoyed the hit tub, sauna, and especially the pool table. Ideal House in Silverthorn

Me and my friends had an amazing stay at Eagles roost. The amenities were great, we loved the sauna, hot tub, and pool table. The sound system was awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. My only negative comment would be there was not enough towels, specifically dedicated hot tub towels. .

A great place to gather

My siblings and I experienced a great loss this year, so we wanted to get away. We did just that at the Eagles Roost. We cooked meals in the fully stocked kitchen, played endless hours of pool and foosball, and when we were bothered by the dry air, we relaxed in the sauna and hot tub. The house is perfectly located to many ski options and restaurants. There's so much to do in and around Silverthorne or stay in!
