Beautiful Modern Rustic Lodge on the Blue River

Spend a vacation at this beautiful 2100 sq ft, 2.5-acre mountain property located 3 miles south of Main Street in Breckenridge. This cabin stands at exactly 10,000 feet above sea level, located on a private driveway shared with two other homes.

The main living space is an open concept floor plan with rustic touches such as grand timbers, steel beams, and granite countertops. The home is also complete with modern conveniences like radiant floor heating, high-speed wifi (400 mbps), and a lounge room featuring a TV with a premium xfinity cable package (250 channels including HBO & Showtime), and a Nex Playground video game system.

Our kitchen is well-stocked and has plenty of space to prepare food for multiple families. Upstairs, guests will find comfortable mattresses and cozy bedding. The master bath features a free-standing tub and an oversized double shower with rain shower heads. The home stocks items to make it comfortable for your little ones (Pack N’ Play, high chair, toys). Plan your next adventure here with a supply of trail maps and guidebooks.

Our large deck backs to open space and mountain views, and features a hot tub, propane grill, and patio set. You’ll find a private trail leading down to the Blue River, where beaver, moose, and deer are spotted throughout the year. You will have access to our shed of toys including cornhole, giant jenga, bocci ball, kids toys and more.

Smoking is not permitted and will result in forfeiture of your deposit. No pets allowed.

In winter months, the driveway is plowed regularly, but is typically snowpacked. 4-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, or front-wheel drive with snow tires or chains is mandatory. Rear wheel drive SUVs and trucks WILL GET STUCK in the snow.

Parking: max of 4 automobiles in the driveway; no parking on town roads.

Be advised there is Ring Video Camera Door Bell located at the front of the Lodge.

Gorgeous property. Access to Breckenridge is easy. Beautiful views. We were lucky enough to see deer and moose in the yard. Would love to come back. The house is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Great view. Great location!

Spent a long weekend with our son. Loved the property, the view and the short drive to downtown Breckenridge. We saw moose tracks in the snow but missed the actual moose. Loved the view from the hot tub!

A wonderful time

The hosts were very communicative. It was easy to find and access the house. The house itself is lovely, so many cool touches and everything clean and in working order. We loved the huge stone fireplace. The jacuzzi on the deck was splendid, and we enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit. Excellent relaxing time with easy access to everything Breck has to offer.

Perfect house for a family with little ones!

The house was better than we had envisioned, very clean and perfect for our family of 6 with a 1 yr old + grandparents. This property had everything we needed inside (high chair, pack and play, gates for stairs, toys) and outside. We will definitely be back and have recommended it to our friends as well! 10K Lodge

Our stay at this location was phenomenal. The house could not have been more perfect. It was well stocked and provided everything we needed and more. Perfect access to all activities without being in town. The grandchildren love their stay there. They will have wonderful memories of all the activities they participated in. And the moose with her two young visiting in the morning. There are so many streams to choose from for excellent fly fishing, and walking trails everywhere from easy to difficult. The local town of Breckenridge offers a lot of activities, excellent restaurants, and shops. We could not have been more pleased with our one month stay. I highly recommend this house and the excellent communications with the owners.

Fantastic Mountain Getaway!

The house was perfect for our ski trip!! The large open floorplan along with the grand view of the river valley and mountains made us never want to leave the house. Our kids loved the media room and toys provided while we enjoyed the fireplace and large well equipped kitchen to fix any meal. The weather was absolutely freezing outside, but the floor heating kept the house very warm inside. The snowplow came by 2x while we were there keeping the driveway nice and clear. The beds were comfy and literally everything about the house and hosts have made it nearly impossible to consider any other property when visiting the Breck area. Can't wait to return! Thanks for everything!

Quiet Retreat

We rented this home right after Christmas and it was nice that they had a Christmas tree. The house was very nice with heated floors and the kitchen was well stocked and they even had Alexa. We had 2 cars and that was not a good idea for this location as we got stuck going up the small hill. The house did have sand and shovels and we were able to get our cars out with little difficulty. I would have given this home 5 stars but at checkout we had to take all the sheets off the bed and start a load of laundry. We also had to wash the dishes and take the trash out. The trash bin was full, by the way. We also had to make sure the thermostats were set back down to 67° I believe. This is the first time I've rented through VRBO so I don't know if this is normal procedures. I just don't know why we have to pay a cleaning fee when I did a lot of the work. Other than that it was a great stay.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location - Some Issues Though

Overall this is beautiful and comfortable home situated in a great location. And a very nice place to stay. We had some issues though... Both times we turned on the dishwasher, it blew the circuit breaker after 10 minutes or so into the cycle. Each time, we had to reset the breaker and start it again. It always worked the second time. Since we were required to start our own linens laundry upon leaving, it was a good thing that we discovered early on that there were large loads of towels left in both the dryer and the washer. Of course the load in the washer was wet. We finished up these two loads and folded them so that we could do our own. We should NOT have had to deal with the previous guests laundry! The known issue with the left back door needs to be taken care of. Twice we were opening the right back door, without touching the left, and the left popped open. Thankfully my brother was able to figure out how to re-latch the left door when this happened. The heat adjustment knob for the right showerhead in the master bathroom needs attention. We had problems turning it to a comfortable hot water position. The duct tape holding one of the dining room chairs together had coming loose and was hanging on the floor. Lastly, the only thing we had available to us for wiping up spills and wiping/rinsing dishes was paper towels. No sponge or kitchen wash cloth was provided - we were told that this was for sanitary reasons. Every other place we've ever stayed at provided either a new sponge and/or freshly laundered kitchen wash cloths. For the above issues, I gave our stay an overall rating of 4, instead of a 5.

This house had cozy gathering spots, was very clean, had beautiful views out the huge den windows. The kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub worked great, stars were amazing off the back deck. We had visits from deer, foxes and chipmunks. It's only a quick 7 minute drive into Breckenridge. You can hear the river at night, but you can't see it from the house. Highly recommend this cabin in Blue River.

Best Luxury Mountain Retreat!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. It was cozy and luxurious everywhere on the property. The kitchen was stocked w some snacks in case you forget something at the grocery. Fridge had so many condiments so no need to buy things like ketchup, mayo. The upstairs had humidifiers that were so key especially for us coming from the south. They even had bath salts to use in the nice tubs! Games, toys for our infant, DVDs, high chair. I mean, they thought of it all. Even though it is right off the main highway, you can not even hear the cars pass. They also had outdoor gear for exploring in the snow! Oh and also a backpack kid carrier too! The owners really thought of it all. Much more personal stay than a big corporate rental. Highly recommended and we will def be back!

Spring break

A group of 6 of us stayed for the week and we were very happy with the rental. We had all ages, and everyone was pleased with the rental. Kids loved the hot tub and movie/video game room whereas the adults stayed in the living room and enjoyed the view. Very spacious and well supplied! Would most definitely stay here again!
