Nestled on 10 beautiful acres, our family-friendly property offers the perfect balance between nature and convenience. Whether you're exploring Darwin's tropical lifestyle or simply looking to unwind, our retreat is the ideal home base.

We’re just a 2-minute drive from local shops including Coles and Woolworths, a friendly local tavern, and vibrant weekend markets—ideal for picking up local produce, crafts, and tropical treats. Darwin’s city centre, waterfront precinct, and famous Mindil Beach Sunset Markets are only a short drive away.

Guest Access:
In addition to the main house, our shared property also offers 3 unpowered campsites away from the house. These are perfect if you're catching up with travelling friends or family. Suitable for caravans, RVs, campers, or tents..

Perfect stay just outside the city with wonderful hosts Mel & Terry. Great location to base yourself from. Property & pool are well kept, close to shops & easy to get to many attractions from. We LOVED this place & would definitely book again.

Melanie was an absolute angel and set up everything we needed for our toddler & newborn before our arrival at 2AM so that we could transfer our little ones straight to hed after our long flight. The house had everything we needed for our bubs (18mo & 2mo old) including a high chair, rocker, cot & even change table mats!We will definitely be staying with Melanie again if we return to Darwin - she made the whole process so hassle-free. The house itself was beautiful and my toddler loved exploring the huge yard & swimming in the pool

This property was perfect. We are a family of 6 who all stayed together at Wells Creek Retreat. There was plenty of space for wveryone. The property is close to everything but far enough away that you can bask in the peace and quiet. The pool was an amazing way to start the day. We often found that is was also the last thing we did in the evening. Mel was an mazing host. She dropped down with a fresh batch of eggs from their own chooks and a warm welcome. We absolutely adored their all round good boy 'Yakka' he made our stay even better. The home has everything you need. From sitting outside under the ceiling fans to watch a movie to every room having air conditioning for those who needed to seek solice from the heat. We would 100% recommend. It was an amazing experience that we would love to have again.
