Hi, I'm Erin — a nature-loving, health-conscious, animal lover who’s passionate about creating peaceful, grounding spaces for others to enjoy. My husband and I live in beautiful Norfolk County, where we’ve been pouring our hearts into transforming the property of our dreams building our house and shop and now extending our love of building cozy off-grid spots like our shipping container bunkies and soon, a dreamy treehouse rental.
When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me hanging out in the woods with my dogs working away, but when I have to be indoors, I'll be making tallow soap and lotions, geeking out over hormone health and longevity, Hosting lets me share the slower pace of life we love with guests looking to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature — something that means a lot to us.
We’re so grateful to welcome people here and hope it brings you as much peace and joy as it brings us.

Why they chose this property
We chose this part of Norfolk County because it feels like a hidden gem — surrounded by Carolinian forest, peaceful trails, and quiet country roads that seem to slow everything down. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to birdsong, spot deer wandering through the woods, and end the day under a sky full of stars.
What we love most about this area is the feeling of space and stillness — it’s grounding. We’re close enough to charming small towns, local farm markets, and Lake Erie beaches to keep things interesting, but far enough removed to truly unplug and reconnect with nature.
It’s a special pocket of Ontario, and we feel lucky to call it home — and to share that experience with others.

What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is the feeling you get the moment you arrive — like you’ve stepped away from the noise and into something quieter, simpler, and more intentional. Set on 74 acres of private Carolinian forest, our off-grid spaces offer a chance to fully unplug, breathe deep, and just be.
We’ve repurposed materials with care, built by hand with heart, and designed every space to blend into the natural surroundings — from the cozy shipping container bunkie to our hammock spots under the trees and the trails that wind through the woods.
It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a place to reset, reconnect, and experience nature in a way that’s rare to find. Whether you're sipping coffee by the fire, listening to the leaves, or soaking up the silence, it’s the kind of stillness we think everyone deserves.
