Fresh mattress cover and two(2) pillows are provided with pillow covers
Towels, bedsheets, blankets and pillowcases will NOT be provided.

This cottage has its own wrap around (L Shape) patio! You have access to your own barbecue and fire pit! FIREWOOD IS NOT INCLUDED, many places near by sell firewood!


Turkey Point offers a small grocery store, LCBO and MacDonald Marina.
Port Dover is just a 15 minute drive away.

The place was very clean and exactly as expected/advertised/communicated through email. Location was perfect. The only thing I would recommend is bringing your own pillows. Would definitely recommend renting!

Communication was good. Nice cute and quiet little place by the water. Only suggestion would be some window coverings on the one window and the door. Opening the door just had to figure out that you needed to pull the door as it electronically unlocked/locked. Would rent again.

The location is amazing being that it's a short 1 minute walk to the beach. I wouldn't suggest anymore than 2 people during the hot summer nights as the cottage only has air in the bedroom. Limited amount of supplies in the kitchen if you plan on cooking. Things to bring along: salad bowl, kettle, serving platter, can opener. We enjoyed our stay and should we be in the area again we would look to book this cottage.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Pros - It was a really short walk to the beach. It seemed like a really new kitchen and recent bathroom update, nice flooring, even a new toaster and coffee maker. The host Richard was very responsive and nice. Very close to a busy restaurant, a good one though, so that might be considered both a pro and a con. Truth is I spent most of my time enjoying the beach, and it was lovely and quiet this time of year. Everyone we met, including the neighbours on both sides, were super nice. Cons-no screen on the patio doors and the deck was kind of rough. No fan in the bathroom and window won't open and no curtains on the entrance door or kitchen windows..felt a bit exposed. Also, the cleaning was certainly not impeccable, not gross, but not that thorough. As someone who has been doing commercial cleaning for a decade, I saw several opportunities for improvement. All of that being said, I would consider renting it again in the future.

Perfect for a couple. Close to a great restaurant and an easy drive to many more including a winery and a eco complex with patio. Perfect beach right across the street!

We were happy with our one night stay. The initial cost for stay before VRBO charges was very reasonable, however the VRBO EXTRA charges are excessive especially for a one night stay.Booking was easy, communication with owner was great. Cottage was clean and all we needed given we spent most of our time with family at another cottage. We appreciate cottage being pet friendly.

Clean place, ample parking, restaurant next door, beach across road. Air conditioning, tv , fan all in working order. Deck outside the patio door was nice feature. New appliances and fresh paint also positive. Will stay there again if in area.
